I'd say Bernie Sanders would beat him. Aside from being able to explain his policies, which are better than Trump's, he has the larger than life personality that attracts voters.
The sad truth is that most people don't vote for the issues, they vote for the personality.

I don't think we need to pander to "Independents" who are really just Republicans in need of attention.

I think we should focus on voter turnout and increase vote share instead.

Conservatives can swipe elections at 55% turnout, but they can't swipe elections at 60% turnout.

The first election I was old enough to vote in was Nixon's 2nd term.

I voted for him, because he made a campaign promise to the people to end the war in Vietnam and bring the troops home.

I knew he was a Dick (No pun intended), but I was so totally against the Vietnam war, I voted for the Dick!

He did end the war, but then proved what a Dick he really was by trying to cover up crimes he didn't even have anything to do with.

And just like Trump lovers, the Nixon lovers denied, lied, and tried to hide the truth- UNTIL THE WRITING WAS ON THE WALL!

And by the way, Nixon taught me, that you just can't trust Republicans, and every Republican President has proven me right on that since!

When voter turn out is low, Republicans win. When voter turn out is high, Democrats win. Most Independents are Liberals or left-leaning Centrists.

But his fans wont be doing the impeaching, so @ some point I believe it is gonna happen & pelosi is gonna make that call, if you trust her judgement or not........
