Poll: Majority Believe Deep State Rules Washington

The poll refers to unelected bureaucrats and civil servants and whether they have undue influence on policy or are unaccountable.

People have been concerned about this since the lower Pleistocene.

Inventing the word "Deep State" does not make you look prescient or smart.
It just makes you look like someone who mindlessly parrots a word somebody smarter than you invented on a rightwing blog, or whatever.

What this poll does not show, is if Americans think there is a vast conspiracy within the government to bring Trump down, and to assist Hillary Clinton or any other Kenyan Marxist on their bloodthirsty quest for power. The was not demonstrated in this poll. And That is how Trumpanzees have been framing "Deep State"

What did this cabal do? Well, the FBI started a Trump-Russia investigation in July 2016; then Comey, McCabe et al. kept it secret until AFTER the election, while announcing they were reopening the Clinton investigation 11 days BEFORE the election. That was a helluva cunning move.

What's the evidence for it? There's the Nunes memo - you can take that to the bank, everybody believes Truthful Nunes. And Strzok emailed his girlfriend a lot - neither of them liked or trusted Trump. Amazing, ain't it?

no. although Comey writing an exoneration draft long before the principles in the case were interviewed, then inexplicably not indicting, then setting up a meeting w/ President-elect ONLY on the salacious aspects of the Steele dossier at the urging of Clapper
to get a "newshook" so CNN could publish the unverified document leaked to them by Brennan.....oh wait.

Wrong. The Deep State controls this country. They are not elected so they don't represent the will of people. Yet they stay long enough to control the powerful department such like FBI, CIA, NSA..... and election system.

A majority thinks a "deep state" rules although 63% are not even familiar with what the deep state is?
