This week's hyperventilating left-wing temper tantrum over some petty, trivial non-controversy with an American tradition is regarding a Christmas song called "Baby It's Cold Outside." This time, the rampaging #Metoo lynch mob arbitrarily forced a Cleveland radio station to ban the harmless, playful holiday song for having lyrics about a girlfriend and boyfriend having drinks who want to continue enjoying time together, but she is worried about how people will judge her if she stays too long (it's old, and people used to be that way), and the guy tries to talk her into staying while continuing to drink with her, which feminists naturally shriek and faint over as if it implies something predatory. Never mind the fact that it's actually a feminist-friendly theme about a woman bucking societal pressures to do what she wants. The radio station being hysterically persecuted for this thought crime decided to run a poll to see what it's listeners thought.
As usual, 92% thought it was complete and utter insanity, and only 8% thought it was a reasonable thing to do. This is pretty reflective of how the public responds to this non-stop PC crusade to tear down every single part of our society that the most deranged left-wing lunatic could find some way to be offended by.
Poll here. From the article:
So again we see that liberals, who constantly propagandize over this class warfare notion of "too much" wealth and influence being allowed to exist in the hands of the 1% that creates all the jobs (despite the left's funding coming primarily from ultra-wealthy extremist millionaires and despite the left's Constitution-shredding policies doing everything they can to maximize total nanny state control into the hands of the few) are the ones who actually represent only a tiny fraction of the population on the lunatic fringe bullying, silencing, and discriminating against the vast majority of people...to which they absurdly respond by acting like everyone else being in the majority makes it impossible to violate their rights.

In the tune, which has been covered by many artists since its debut, a female sings: "I really can’t stay,” to which a man responds: "But baby, it’s cold outside.” In another part of a song, a woman is heard singing lines like "Say what's in this drink?", "The answer is no" and "I've gotta get home."
