Why must they be emphasized? What's wrong with just acknowledging them and trying to fix them?
The fact is, what you think needs fixed isn't necessarily what I do, and the fact that I live here and
you don't, makes you and your opinions irrelevant.

I actually support slavery but it has to be voluntary. E.g., those who enter our country illegally have the choice of being sold into slavery or return to their shithole. Proceeds of the sale go to the gubmint and it has to be well regulated.
I suspect most would choose to be slaves.
Free housing, healthcare and protection aren't bad benefits compared to where they came from.
 
In my opinion, considering I never suffered the humiliation, hardship and abuse of being a slave against my own will, why should I feel as though I deserve reparations at not being a victim of slavery? That would be like myself collecting reparations or a lawsuit award over a fatal or personal injury as a result of a vehicular accident of a relative suffering the injury or loss of life but not myself. Yet to each is own in terms of their opinion in this regard. Actually one form of reparations was the ending of slavery and the passing of federal civil rights laws in particular. For that matter, what about reparations for Native Americans who suffered terrible atrocities at having their land stolen as in their trail of tears? Also what about reparations for migrants in America who have suffered terrible atrocities at the hands of tRump and his criminal against humanity mob that also violated the meaning of a Democracy and U.S. Constitutional law. Also what about reparations for the working and middle class taxpayer who have suffered atrocities as a result of tRump and his antigovernment conspiring GOPer cronies getting together at passing seditious tax scams in order to enrich themselves and screw rob the working and middle class of life sustaining monetary resources, etc. Furthermore, what about reparations for U.S. Constitutional law at constantly being violated by repukes and the most heinous violation is the fraudulent election of a demagogue, tyrant and Putin puppet tRump who is no legitimate so-called president but a felonious imposter?
