Political Hobbyism & YOU!!

I agree. It's a 'Sport'. Red Team/Blue Team.
Little is devoted to the actual 'issues'. Most time is spent being 'Cheerleaders' for the respective teams.

This is probably 'promoted' by outside interests using the 'Divide and Conquer' theory.

The Most Clear Example to me was when Obama suggested a 'punitive strike' on Assad and Syria for using Banned Chemical Weapons. Red Team went berserk in opposition. Then ...
Trump suggested the SAME THING ... and Red Team did cartwheels in agreement.

This type of divisional thinking is EXACTLY what China, Russia, and others want. THEY ... are winning a War that the US is unaware is being waged.

Political hobbyism means a more informed electorate.

No wonder the Democrat party hates it. :palm:

Everyone reading this is a hobbyist lol.

But we’re a subset of society. People are by and large uninformed/misinformed.

The word apathy comes to mind, eh?
Ignorance and apathy are rampart across the land...I don’t know and I don’t care.

Young people trying earn a living, pay the mortgage, buy food and medicine and raise a family in this country don’t have much time to stay informed.

The radical Democrat Socialists depend on this, Mujer de Buho.

I suppose it depends what you mean. I'm not a professional politician (though I could have been) nor a 'professional revolutionary' (though I once flirted with that role) but I've certainly been quite strongly victimised for my political beliefs and had my (fairly tedious) phone conversations monitored by the rozzers, so you speak for yourself.

Joining Red Team or Blue Team and 'memorizing your lines' isn't really being 'informed'.

Is that your "line", Jack? ... cause you sure use it a lot. BTW, it's stupid.

This asshole "expert" author is talking to Democrats, only.

He is calling Leftist online virtue signaling, ... political hobbyism, which is a lie. No one in their right mind would define political hobbyism that way.

but people discussing politics isnt the problem. this is pro censorship propaganda.

yes, divide and conquer is a nwo strategy, but silencing speech isn't the answer. free speech is the solution.

this pathetic half truth piece of crap indicates oligarchical desperation.

nwo is failing.

dems are doing the cancel culture pogroms. they are falling right into the divide and conqer trap. discussions and disagreements are enligtened. cancel culture and censorship are dark age.

I think he is comparing it to supporting your local football team. You support the team because it is from your city. No other reason. You wave the flag, buy the bumper sticker, and chant the slogan.
