[h=1]A 33-year-old Nebraska woman told police three masked men burst into her house Sunday morning, bound her with zip ties, stripped her naked, carved anti-gay slurs into her skin and tried to light her house on fire. The victim crawled with her hands and feet still zip-tied, naked, bleeding, and screaming for help to her neighbor Linda Rappl’s house after the attack. Police was called around 4 a.m. Officials have begun an investigation but as of yet have no suspects. [/h] [h=1]

Police continue to investigate Sunday’s reported hate crime but say they haven’t ruled out the possibility that the 33-year-old woman staged the attack.

Chief Jim Peschong told the Journal Star investigators were not certain an attack took place, but he said Tuesday it was too early to tell whether the attack was a hoax. Police have no suspects, the chief said.

Capt. Jim Davidsaver said later the FBI had joined the investigation, and an agent was at the department Tuesday.

A 33-year-old Near South woman told police three masked men burst into her house Sunday morning, bound her with zip ties, carved anti-gay slurs into her skin and tried to light her house on fire, according to the woman’s friend, who spoke to the Journal Star on Sunday.

Lincoln attorney Megan Mikolajczyk told the Journal Star she was representing the woman who reported the crime, but she said her client did not wish to make a statement Tuesday evening.

LOL

She does not want her statement to be used against her when the police confirm she made the whole thing up. Surprised I did not see Brian Ross on ABC blaming tea party members for this.

LINCOLN, Neb.—Police say a former University of Nebraska women's basketball star faked an attack in which she allegedly carved anti-gay slurs into her skin because she felt it would spark change.

Lincoln Police Chief Jim Peschong said Tuesday that 33-year-old Charlie Rogers outlined her motive for the faked July 22 attack in Facebook postings four days earlier.

Peschong says Rogers wrote: "So maybe I'm too idealistic but I believe way deep inside me that we can make things better for everyone. I will be a catalyst. I will do what it takes. I will. Watch me."

Rogers, a lesbian, told police three masked men attacked her in her home and carved anti-gay slurs in her skin.

Rogers was charged Tuesday with making a false police report.

Just like all the rest of these phony hate crimes, they did it to themselves or made the stories up, but yet the media and the rest of the idiots believe this bullshit.

If the assailants were alleged Muslims, would RacistX be more inclined to believe the purported victim?

It sucks to find out another story of gay hate is all made up bullshit, from some nut that wanted her 15 minutes of fame for the gay agenda.

This woman needs to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

I don't, however, see how this has any effect on the multitude of actual crimes perpetrated against gays simply because of their sexual orientation.

And I bet you were a rabid dog when you first read this story, before she was exposed for the hate-crime faker she was.

[h=1]McCain volunteer says she was mugged, had 'B' cut into face[/h]
November 30, -0001 12:00 am

Michael A. Fuoco and Jerome L. Sherman / Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Pittsburgh Police are investigating a report by a campaign volunteer for John McCain that she was mugged and the letter B was cut into her face following a robbery in Bloomfield last night.

Police say that Ashley Todd, 20, of College Station, Texas, reported that the attack occurred around 9 p.m. after she withdrew $60 from an ATM at Liberty Avenue and Pearl Street.
She said a man armed with a knife demanded her money. She gave it to him and began walking toward her car, which has McCain stickers.
Although the robber had moved away from her, he became agitated when he saw her car, punched her in the back of the head, pushed her to the ground and carved a B into her face, she reported.
"This is what she's telling police," police spokeswoman Diane Richard said. "We can't substantiate it at this time."
Police are checking video footage from a bank surveillance camera.
Ms. Richard said Ms. Todd declined medical treatment at the scene.
The suspect is described as black, 6 feet 4 inches, about 200 pounds. He was wearing dark clothing.
The McCain campaign tonight confirmed that both Republican candidates telephoned Ms. Todd to express their concern and well-wishes, but out of respect for her privacy they would have nothing more to say.
The campaign of Barack Obama issued the following statement:
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the young woman for her to make a speedy recovery, and we hope that the person who perpetrated this crime is swiftly apprehended and brought to justice."
More details in tomorrow's Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
