Police find ammunition outside Wisconsin Capitol as standoff continues

(CNN) -- At least 41 rounds of .22-caliber ammunition have been found outside the Wisconsin Capitol building, Capitol Police testified in court Thursday afternoon.

Authorities were looking Thursday for additional rounds, aided in the search by a K-9 unit, according to Dane County Wisconsin Sheriff Dave Mahoney.

The building has not been evacuated.

I don't know... wasn't the Giffords incident viewed as a call to tone down the rhetoric? Weren't we all urged to step back and take a deep breath, and calm down a bit? Didn't the president plea for us to stop the vitriol and try to work together?
