Photo of bloodied, broken nosed George Zimmerman released

Have ya ever seen the effect an ice pack will have on a swollen ankle etc...??? Tends to reduce the swelling.

Reduce, not eliminate. I had a sprained ankle a few years ago, was on crutches for a few days, the swelling didn't start to go away for at least a week. Per doctor's instructions I alternated ice packs with heat.

No...I thought he was in his vehicle following the kid when he first called in...have I misremembered...possibly...so what? That makes me suspect in the conspirators mind I suppose...or do I remember correctly? I'll wait for you to prove your point...in any case he was told to not do anything and let the police do their job but of course he was a hot shot police wannabe so he ended up killing a kid for being black.

Way to go big guy.

except that according to Zimmerman he was following Martin, the police told him not to pursue so he headed back to his car and then Martin confronted him for having been following him. I don't know if that is what actually happened (obviously) but that is what Zimmerman stated.

Saying he killed Martin for being black is again more sensationalistic crap on your part.

Again, injuries are of varying degree. Bodies react differently. Sometimes the swelling goes away immediately, sometimes it takes months. There is no one way that always occurs.

An ankle sprain is good example, a high sprain typically takes much longer to heal than a low sprain. The swelling pattern is different. Yet they are both called ankle sprains.

Zimmerman has changed his story so many times it's hard to keep track isn't it?! In any case he's an ass.

Is this photo supposed to have been taken as he got into the ambulance? When was it taken because the video from the police station shows him in fine form and unbloodied...just wondering when this photo was supposed to have been taken...before medical treatment and a bit afterward?? WTF?? He killed a kid for some scrapes and a bloody nose...after he chased the kid around with a gun. Yeah, he was under threat and had to 'stand his ground'...sorry but it doesn't wash.

Found this elsewhere and it sums it up nicely:

Martin was not required to tell Zimmerman anything or explain why he was walking home with a bottle of tea and a package of candy.

Zimmerman had no legal authority to detain or follow the young man or anyone else.

When Zimmerman attempted to detain and question Martin he was committing a crime.

Martin had the right to Stand His Ground against the threat posed by Zimmerman. Unfortunately sometimes the perceived threat becomes reality and innocent people lose their lives.

Trayvon Martin was an innocent victim whose life was taken by George Zimmerman and Mr Zimmerman will be held to account in a court of law.

and here is a copy of that video I mentioned...

So where did this photograph come from and when was it taken? Looks to me as though it's the defenses attempt to influence the jury pool and public opinion...something this twat has been doing from day one. Travon Marten is still dead because of him. He killed a kid.

Here's an article from the Sanford newspaper showing 22 photos in evidence. http://mysanfordherald.com/pages/trayvon_martin

Look at #15 in the article. His nose doesn't look anything like the nose in the picture posted above. Even the skin tone of the "broken nose" doesn't match the skin tone on the rest of the face. How does his entire face have a yellowish cast but the nose is pink?

The kid died because he was stupid and used poor judgement.

Zimmy is in the court system because he used poor judgement......end of story

Yeah the kid used poor judgement because he felt safe to walk around at night, in his own neighborhood, wearing a hoodie while black...in Floriduh....it's his own fault right?

He did stop following, remember the 911 call?
Dispatcher" are you following him"
Zimmerman ( out of breath) "yes"
Dispatcher" you don't have to do that"
Zimmerman "ok"
The conversation continued with Zimmerman describing where he was and where he was heading, he's breathing becoming less laboured, therefore not running, therefore not chasing.

They've been told this, time and time again, but it doesn't matter; because they live in a really small world, that they've created for themselves.

It's a miracle. That big, swollen nose returned to normal size after the blood was cleaned up.

That is, unless that big, swollen nose was an enhancement for dramatic effect.

It was days later and after medical attention. The reality is, George Zimmerman has been largely demonized on a partisan basis. Odd though, considering he's not republican and not white.

That would have been a serious deriliction of police procedure if they hadn't taken pictures, I just don't believe that.

They are bound and determined to make this a racist issue and if they can't have Zimmerman's head on a platter, then they have to find someone to blame it on; because they want vengence, not justice.

Photoshop!!!!!

Again, the authorities took and just released the photo. It isn't 'shopped. It actually works against their case, they should have immediately released it to George's attorney, instead the government (shocker here) held back evidence.

I don't disagree that he is an ass.

Given the background in the photo, I would GUESS it was taken at the scene of the crime, whereas the video you posted is from the police station, AFTER he had been treated.

Also, the video from the police station hardly shows evidence either way.

He killed a kid for some scrapes and a bloody nose...after he chased the kid around with a gun. Yeah, he was under threat and had to 'stand his ground'...sorry but it doesn't wash.

again you are sensationalizing the situation with your own prejudice.

Correct.

Zimmerman had no legal authority to detain or follow the young man or anyone else.

Zimmerman did not detain him. There is also no law that says you cannot follow someone.

When Zimmerman attempted to detain and question Martin he was committing a crime.

At no point did Zimmerman attempt to detain Martin. Asking him a question is not a crime.

Martin had the right to Stand His Ground against the threat posed by Zimmerman. Unfortunately sometimes the perceived threat becomes reality and innocent people lose their lives.

If Martin felt threatened, then yes, he certainly had a right to stand his ground. But if Martin approached Zimmerman after Zimmerman began walking away, then that is a different story. Hence, the trial to see what happened.

Trayvon Martin was an innocent victim whose life was taken by George Zimmerman and Mr Zimmerman will be held to account in a court of law.

He certainly will be held accountable.

Because if I were told by the police to stay in my vehicle and decided to hunt down a kid with my gun but got my butt kicked I sure as hell wouldn't kill him and claim I was standing my ground. What complete sissy bullshit!! Guns kill...being armed and stupid is no excuse.

But your prensentation; because he wasn't told to stay in his vehicle and he never decided to hunt down a kid, so this is just you continuing to lie and show yourself as a racist.

you've lost all credibility by starting your post with an outright lie. thanks for failing.

I would support that in an instant. Actually, if I remember correctly there were petitions going around at the time for this very thing and I signed them. There are plenty of examples of Sanford's racism on the internet.
then if the police doctored photos and other evidence, would that not make them accomplices after the fact? why aren't any of them charged with a crime?
