I'm making the claim that impeachment goes away when a conviction doesn't occur.

Your fellow n-l Micawber has called Trump a criminal yet has failed multiple times to give a date of any conviction. Are you saying someone can be a criminal without a conviction?

Some guy in Podunk, W. VA gets accused of robbing a gas station. So, everybody calls him a thief. The accusations go with him
to trial where the prosecution presents their evidence. The jurors find him not guilty and is acquitted.
Was he accused? Yes.
Was he acquitted? Yes.
Will he forever be called a thief just because he was accused? No
He is innocent.
Trump is forever acquitted.
He is innocent. :cool:
