Thiel's privacy was invaded by Gawker. Even if his homosexuality was open knowledge in Silicon Valley, why does that give Gawker the right to out him to the world?
Thiel's the man to me. He's part of the PayPal mafia and I personally like his Libertarian politics and adventurous ideas. I think it's great he took down Gawker like he did. I have no sympathy for them. I've read others in the media complain that now other billionaire's are going to attack those they don't like. I've tried to step back and look at the bigger picture but I still back what Thiel did. Gawker f'd him and they f'd Hogan.
