sure. First of it looks like they dont use it exclusively like Clinton did and secondly it looks like that they did not use their own private server guarded by a team of lawyers and IT.

For instance if you were to submit a FOIA request for Ivankas emails you would turn up something as she uses government email and her own while since she does not have the server in her basement you can subpeona and get the info from it. Whereas with if you submitted a FOIA request for hillary's emails you would get nothing because she could wipe them from her server which she had in her basement.

Which makes sense because she did the entire thing to subvert FOIA because she thinks she is above the law.

If you reply to a GovCo account from your personal account, a record of it is archived with the GovCo server. As long as confidential information is not being shared this meets the recordkeeping requirement.

What Hillary did was to use her own server, and many of these messages contained confidential information. Thus the record keeping requirement was not met and secrecy of confidential information was compromisable. Plus, there can be only one reason anyone would go through the trouble and expense of setting up a personal server, and that is to be able to delete information later, an attack on why the recordkeeping requirement was meant to prevent.

It might be for the low iq's you're replying to but you left a whole lot out.....

Hillary sent and received classified material on her private unsecured server( a crime)
Hillary's emails were NOT re-viewed by the government and not were not kept for evaluation or future reference (a crime)
Hillary destroyed over 30,000 emails under subpoena by the federal government (a crime)
Hillary allowed her server to be accessed by several or her staff ( that never had a security clearance) to view the classified material she kept there (a crime)

There is more but this is certainly far beyond what Trumps people have done....
Having a private email address is not illegal in DC.....having a server that is inaccessible by the gov. is....

First, after a year of us posting on JPP every single day, it's clear you still have NO FUCKING clue what the issue was. It was not about someone using a private email account.

It was about the following:

STEALING documents off of a government intranet and putting them on a far less secure, home server.
These documents were CLASSIFIED MATERIAL that should never have been PURPOSEFULLY STOLEN from the governments computers.
Hillary then lied about this, covered it up, and when the heat was turned up took her harddrives to the basement and started smashing them with hammers.

It's not about a politicians using a fucking gmail account.

It blows my mind that you are so ignorant on this issue. Actually, I guess it doesn't because you liberals had your fingers in your ears throughout the entire time it was going on.

using gmail would actually be acceptable to me because you can subpeona the emails from gmail (third party) whereas hillary could delete her emails.

I dont think democrats understand that the purpose of what she did was to subvert FOIA.
