People Who Don't Want A Border Wall

So maybe we should hire more border patrol agents?

I've always said that since we have dozens of military bases scattered across this country why not locate one right on our southern border and conduct training excercises back and forth along the border with smaller posts scattered along that border? Not that the military is in charge of enforcement of the border but if choppers or jets were routinely screaming up and down it, it would provide quite a deterrant. It would not cost any more than we currently spend on them doing the same thing in a dozen other places in the country. Not to mention it's in a desert much like we have been fighting our last couple wars in. Not that they would be enforcing imigration but they could get on their radio saying, "Border patrol this is Air Force 1-niner you have about a dozen people strolling across the border at such and such coordinates in the event you are interested, have a nice day, this is 1-niner out". We have over a dozen joint Air Force/Army bases in the USA why not put one smack dab on our southern border? We spend more than the top 10 countries in the world put together training our military, why not do it where it might accomplish another objective free of charge?

The Wall Trump was having built didn't need any guards whatsoever. Drones could be available to see if any of the illegals are attempting to dig a tunnel(s) under the wall. No guards needed.

He built next to nothing before we stopped with that waste of time and money and we won't be electing anyone fucking stupid enough to continue it.

Do you think that thec illegal immigration numbers are out of control? Or are you satisfied with the job that Kamala is doing?

No I don't think they are out of control. They are humans much like the Irish that filled ships trying to make it to someplace to make a living. Not to mention we could use a ton of cheap labor, screen them and let a few million in. That or send the Statue of Liberty back to France, tell them we aren't using it any more.

The main gates where illegals used to be properly vetted.

They aren't "illegals", they are human beings looking for a place to live. Only a bigoted rightwinger refers to human beings as being "illegal". And yes our border is not and has not, ever been "open". Another term that only your dumfuck rightwinger seems to use.

Well, no one expects you to have a heart or conscious or level head- about anything anyway.

For a Christian man, you really need to do a lot of soul searching!

I wish you a lotta' of luck and wish you well POST!
nothing "Christian" about what the demmycrats are doing to immigrants.....you aren't offering them freedom........you're offering them a lifetime of mowing your lawn for very little money......

you don't want legal immigration.......your side has never voted for it even when you controlled everythin.......you want a permanent dependent class so you can force cheap labor on them.....

of course they are illegals......they didn't enter legally.......and the border is open......that is why we user the terms.......

Do you have a problem with the undocumented/illegal immigrant population in Boston? It is a concern here...(I think we're just talking numbers now...) I'm not seeing a European or African problem here at this time...

There are plenty located around me and I have no problem with them whatsoever but then I'm not a bigoted shithead that is afraid of them. The landscapers that take care of my property are all hispanics and half don't speak English but they all know me. I'm the guy who always says hello and gives em a cool drink. They are nice as can be and will do just about anything you ask of them if you don't treat them like they are some sort of substandard animal. I had a few paint a rental property in less than half the time for half the cost and I'm pretty sure they did a better job. I had a half dozen bring their family to my bar-b-que and we had a blast. You know they aren't nearly as scary as Trump has told you.

I had a few paint a rental property

aren't you one of those folks who used to rail about the fact people who hired illegals were the cause of the problem?.......

You know they aren't nearly as scary as Trump has told you.

of course not......they aren't the problem.......you are.......you want illegals here so you can get your apartments painted cheap......

99% of those coming into this country come through the front door, they don't come across the border in the middle of nowhere. those that do will climb over it. A wall would only totally fuck up our ecosystem disturbing all sorts of migrations. I'm sure that's too much for a fucking ignorant rightwinger to understand but just leave it save to assume we aren't electing any fucking morons to build one.

The only migrations going to Mexico and back are birds you fool.

Wrong again, Tink. If you were an American, then you'd know a lot of elderly Americans are headed south for medical procedures and retirement facilities.

"Pre-pandemic, some 1.2 million American citizens traveled to Mexico for elective medical treatment," Josef Woodman, CEO of Patients Beyond Borders, told NPR. His firm publishes a guide to international medical travel....

..."Today, the market is recovering rapidly in Mexico, nearly back to its pre-pandemic levels," Woodman said.

Nearly 780,000 people were projected to leave the U.S. for health care in 2022, according to Healthcare.com, citing data from the medical travel website Medical Departures.

A retired couple can expect to retire comfortably in Mexico with an average income of about $2,500 a month, or $30,000 a year, according to InternationalLiving.com. These figures include the cost of a house, a maid service, utilities, groceries, entertainment, health insurance and more.

Over the past four decades, Americans have voted Mexico the worlds #1 place to live or retire in the way that really counts: Theyve packed up and moved there. This country is home to more American expats and retirees than any otherat least 1 million and as many as 2 million, depending on the survey.

Americans looking to start a new life in a new country primarily seek three things: warm weather, beautiful beaches, and a low cost of living. Mexico delivers in all three categories.

While the living is not as cheap as it was in the 1970s when Americans first began migrating south in volume, Mexico is a bargain on the global scale. Thanks to the U.S. dollars strength against the peso in the last few years, the cost of living appeals to retirees on a budget. In some parts of the country, this translates to super real estate deals, too.

So big deal, highly sensitive ground microphones can pick up tunnelling activity. If they don't how to do it then just ask the IDF or the Koreans.

There are still too many ways to get across. Many come in at border points and bribe the guards. They tried stopping and searching all the vehicles but it caused such a long pile up at the border they dropped it.
