People lined up in Dallas to hug cops

Video: Dallas cops fatally shoot mentally ill man wielding screwdriver?

Pretty cowardly if you ask me, cops did not have to kill this mentally ill man!
They were not prosecuted either?!!
I would not hug them?

Man, that convenience store story really got me. How great to read that right now.

I was just watching the news & getting pretty down. Seems like so much hate & anger right now. Great to read these positive stories.

The conversation is important. BLM is good and bad. The good needs to be encouraged, the bad called out. Just like Islam.

And ' Christianity '. Who has really forgiven the regiments of child-buggering priests ?

Now then- let's see YOU encourage some Muslims, you duplicitous racist megaphone.

We can't, and shouldn't, hide the bad sh*t but imo it helps to know there are good people out there working to make a difference.

One person shot them down. The rest of us can't come together to try and make things better?

no because hugs make you feel good and you shouldnt until you actually acknowledge why the event happened. And passing it of as "mental disability" or whatever doesnt count.

Im not classifying this as muslim terrorism but you see this after every terorr attack. People do a moment of silence, people put flowers on some random place and then proceed to wait for the next one. I would rather they not do any of that and acknowledge what is actually happening.

We already see the deflection here from the actual problem. From mental health issues to NRA. anything but discuss the real situation.

The "real situation" is the opposite of what you think

You seek to generalize everything. The guy who shot the Dallas cops WAS a lunatic. But you lumped him in not just with BLM, but with everyone who hugged the cops also. I mean, how ridiculous is that?

It's what you & more than a few do. If there is an extremist who calls himself a Muslim, you make it about the whole religion. If there is a shooter like the one in Dallas, it's all of BLM.

Generalizing like that is the enemy. It's the "actual problem" that you speak of. People like you ARE the problem, not part of the solution.

Cops should refuse to police black neighborhoods. If you call a cop you should sign a waiver. Want to live like animals then don't expect others to lay down their life for you

It's a declaration of intellectual weakness to lump large groups in w/ extremists.

It basically means that it's too complicated for you to differentiate, and see the world in anything but the most simplistic terms.
