Like our adversaries, the United States is stuck on this men only rule, preferably white men. One must note, Trump has never ran against any man and won, not ever!!! His very first attempts before 2016, he never had a chance.....The misogyny in this country is real, undeniable and sad. I don't think Berny would have won with Trump. Berny is so progressive and back then he wasn't being felt by a lot of ppl like he is today. I will however contend, we had a good line up of gov's and senators in 2016, Hillary just got all the attention.

Yep! Although I personally didn't think either Harris or Clinton were good candidates, your points save for one are valid none-the-less. I say this because Sanders had the majority vote of the largest demographic in the country .... the youth vote (18 to 30, I believe). But given his platform, there was no way in hell the DNC was going to put him in the White House.

It wasn't just the DNC's reservations, it was a lot voters like me, that wasn't feeling all this free free shit. I understood why so many young people was latching onto this guy, I mean his progressive policies were worse than Madami's at some point back then. We had just gotten ACA and then come's Bernie's universal attempts. Today, a lot of his shit makes sense, but back then it was scary for liberal voters on my demographic to get behind him.....and Hillary too. I hate this woman, never liked her cockiness. She brought her upity white privelage ass to my southern state and sent some washed up rapper to appease us all while she was entertaining big donors at some dinner. Never was a fan, hope to never see her face in politics ever again. She along with Harris, both should have kept their overly ambitous ass'es in the fuckin senate.

The major fault of yor screed was incorrectly categorizing Sanders as "free free shit". He laid out how things could be paid for, like raising tax rates for the 1% and cutting tax breaks for large corporations. THOSE and other things is what scared elites to death
Remember, California had free colleges before Reagan became governor (and later messed everything up with his "reagonomics".
Hillary was a carpetbagger, a war monger and a political hustler like her husband. I don't recall Harris being a senator, but an AG for her state.

You don't remember her making a name for herself grilling then nominee, Kafenaugh for the Supreme Court? That shit show, pretty much put her on the map. I stand correct if what you say about Bernie is fact. Unfortunately, I was never a Bernie fan, he's sounds like a damn broken record, same shit at every speech.

Regarding Hillary:

- in her early career she was a conservative republican ... even worked on Barry Goldwater's campaign. Her come-to-Jesus moment was when MLK was killed. Then she became a Democrat. Yes, she did good work on the Nixon commission and such. But IMHO in balance that didn't make her senatorial or presidential material.

And you should do some research as to what Sanders platform was. IMHO, he whimped out instead of taking the Dems on, but what can you do.
