feb 27 2025 A new Pentagon memo — dated Wednesday — ordered the removal of all gender dysphoric and self-described transgender servicemembers from the United States military.

The document, entitled “Additional Guidance on Prioritizing Military Excellence and Readiness,” said that the “medical, surgical, and mental health constraints on individuals who have a current diagnosis or history of, or exhibit symptoms consistent with, gender dysphoria are incompatible with the high mental and physical standards necessary for military service.”

The new Defense Department policy described in the memo said that those who “have a current diagnosis of” or exhibit “symptoms consistent with” gender dysphoria are “incompatible with military service.” They are therefore “no longer eligible for military service.”

I dont think that the courts are going to allow the Pentagon to change its mind about this without penalty....likely in payments to the ones being removed.

Do notice that we are not provided with any good info in how many people we are talking about.....When I ask Google I am given ten year old numbers apparently from trans activists....that is nothing.

My view on this whole shitfest is that if the military recruited to a consistent physical and mental standard they shouldn't give a shit about someone's sexual proclivities. The trans thing is a problem because they aren't likely to meet physical an mental standards. That is, they require ongoing drugs to maintain their new gender, they have serious suicide issues--potential or realized--and have possibly undergone numerous surgical procedures that could impair their readiness.
