This guy writes a weekly column for the SF Chronicle's online site. I do not like him at all. I read him basically out of self-tourture. I won't go into all the reasons I don't like him but in a way he is like the exact opposite of Damn Yankee when it comes to homosexuality. Here is his column from yesterday on homophobia and corporate America.

fact is, he never said those words and you said -

My take is this, and I have no scientific evidece to back it up, its just my gut.
Repressing sexuality at a young age leads to pedophelia. Therefore groups that are encouraged to repress there sexuality have a higher instance of pedopehlia. Gays, especally religous gays, are encouraged to repress there sexuality way past a healthy age and IF there is more pedophelia amungst Gay people it would not be due to there sexuality, it woud be due to it being repressed.
I belive it is very prominant with Priests because they clearly are pushed to repress sexuality and sometimes that will lead to taking it out on a helpless victim.

This week it seems they did all they can, at this point. I guess I should have changed it to say something more like.... "Dismissing Paterno and the President was the correct action at this time, the Catholic Church never even did that."
