Penn State did the right thing where Catholic Church failed!

In the end, Penn State fired Paterno and the school's president.

The Catholic church kept the Bishops who knew and did nothing and the Pope who was in charge!
 
No, Penn State did not do the right thing. It did the wrong thing and only took action when it's hand was forced by a damning grand jury indictment. And they dragged their feet on that even. Just because the Catholic Church was worse, doesn't mean Penn State did the right thing.
 
The Pope remained the Pope and the Bishops remained Bishops. I knew the Bishop for our diocese, he got promoted!

Right, like JFK, John Kerry, Joe Biden, Mary Landrieu, Patrick Leahy, Tom Harkin, Barbara Mikulski, Patty Murray, Jack Reed, Robert Menendez, Mark Begich, and Maria Cantwell?

(There's more if you want them listed. And that is just the Senate. Most Catholics in government seem to be Democrats.)

Its not a Democrat v. Republican thing, neither party is culpable in this, the entire government failed when it came to holding the Catholic church accountable for harboring and allowing child sexual abuse in there orginization.

And when you have all those high powered politicians, what do you think the outcome would be? Democrats will not bite the hands that feed it. The Catholic church is in favor of amnesty, it is also in dire need of funds since most educated people left the church never to return again with their children. The illegals represent a new source of funding for the church, largely uneducated and devoted worshipers with jobs. And with the Catholic Church pushing amnesty, democrats are looking for new voters.

The religious right is a faction of a political party, of course a simpleton can point out democrats have religious people. What is the power wing of the democrats based on religion?

Its amazing the contrast to how people view what is essentially the same thing. When Penn State does it v. when the Catholic Church does it. Except the Catholic Church did it in mass.

The Catholic Church didn't do anything. Pedophile Priests did dirty deeds and other Priests covered it up. The "Church" is made up of believers. The Catholic Church doesn't believe in pedophilia, just as Penn State doesn't teach pedophilial.

Thanks for once again demonstrating your hatred of Catholics. You just wanted another opportunity to bash them. While I agree what the Catholics did regarding the pedophile priests was wrong, you once again make a fool out of yourself in your attempt to bash them.

IN NO WAY DID PENN STATE DO THE RIGHT THING.
