A typical leftie claims I'm part of the problem. I'm claiming it's not that simple. Cycles of poverty and abuse are difficult to be broken. Our nation has failed in such areas. Since the Democrats, as often happens, controls such places, it's their ghetto, not anyone else's.

One problem, IMHO, is a lack of vision; a lack of people with the power to tap an untapped resource and create profit for everyone...mostly for themselves. Regardless, results count. Cities need to break their cycles of poverty, gangs and a culture that supports such things.

Dems are for high pay for the troops, Republicans are for higher pay to beltway bandits hawking weapons systems to Congress. Everyone knows this.

Republicans point out that if we pay troops a reasonable wage, how will their idiot nephew find a place in the military. There will be too many qualified recruits pushing him out.
