Pelosi attack should give voters pause

It's pretty much always "the economy, stupid", when it comes to elections.

But will independents and even Republicans see shades of 1/6 in the recent attack? Will they start paying closer attention to stories about the huge increases in threats against election workers, politicians, media personalities, et al.?

MAGA may have core issues like immigration and lower taxes - but it has also come to stand for hate, hostility and even violence.

Voters have to ask: is this the kind of country we want?

Yes the voter should vote for law and order GOP candidates and not for defund the police Democrats.

Independents know that this isn't true anymore. They have seen how much respect Republicans have for cops, and the rule of law.

The GOP put Trump above all of that. No one outside of the base thinks that Republicans are the party of law enforcement anymore.

Safe to assume due to SF's no bail laws this guy is out of jail, we can deduct from the OP that he/she/alphabet wants democrats to vote Republican. I agree.

Yes,....it should give voters pause. Gay lovers in spats should NEVER have easy access to hammers.

MAGA also stands as a threat to democracy. Voter suppression. Voter intimidation. Over-riding the will of the people.

The last is the greatest threat we face. If that is not fulfilled, nothing else really matters.

Well, honestly the attack DID give me pause. I'm wrestling with my conscience trying to decide if I should just vote GOP once, or if I should steal 10 mail-in ballots and vote GOP 10 more times.

Go taking a walking tour of San Francisco....is this what you want for your country?

It's going to have an effect on some independent voters this cycle. Will it be enough to swing the election to the D's this term? I have no idea. No one does.

Proof of Express' post is that Republicans think in soundbites. They "back the blue" except in San Francisco when the police tell the truth about the attack on Pelosi or when Capitol cops try to foil their coup. The MAGAs all want people to think the Pelosi attack wasn't an attack, but a "gay thing". It's group psychosis.

Like all people, gay lovers prefer to use their 'tools'. Don't judge.

Also, the rumor you're pushing is propaganda. Have a nice day :)

The MAGA movement started off as a regular populist movement which is always most viable among the low-information voters and lower educated voters. Trump knows exactly one thing but he knows it VERY WELL and that's how to appeal to absolute worst in people and get them to behave in accordance with that.

Trump doesn't actually believe in any overarching philosophy other than "all eyez on Trump". I worry that the MAGATs have started to turn more and more vicious. Now their primary objective is NOT in anyway related to making American better but rather to "owning the Libs" and drinking "Lib tears".

It's a sick ethos and one borne of the concerted efforts to create a low-information, highly suggestible "mob". To be quite fair to Trump: he was a STUNNING SUCCESS in this arena.

The Left, meanwhile, is winding itself out into deep space worrying over trying to be all good things to all people and, as so often happens with really good "intentions" it gets itself tripped up. The Left elevates topics slightly and the Right picks them up and amplifies the most absurd extremes of any point and then demands that society be re-engineered to ensure that whatever modest inconvenience is turned into a full on culture war.

Our country is well and truly screwed unless we can get ourselves back inline. On both sides, sure, but the Right is currently the more concerning ones with the ongoing threats to election workers, the consistent denial of the election results and angry mobs demanding the death of the Vice President for honestly affirming a free and fair election.

I don't see this getting better anytime soon.

Hey! YOU'RE THE ONE I'M LOOKING FOR. Look I have all these stolen 2020 trump ballots in my car. Hilary and George Soros gave them to me. Would you do me a solid and hold them for me for awhile? I feel John Durham closing in!

Hey, question about John Durham. I haven't heard much about the Burisma investigation. How's that going?

Why is this even a story? There is violence like this every day in SF. The only reason this is a story is because of the desperation of democrats this coming election. They have zero accomplishments to stand on, therefore they have to make it about something else. They are not making any noise about actual democrat voters getting killed or injured through violence. Only because it is Pelosi's husband. Basically democrats are doing what they do best. Fuck the common people, it is all about me. To that I say clearly: Fuck you democrats. You are all fake and thankfully out of power come the midterms. For a reason.

I thought you were ignoring me.:( I am disappointed.
