The very first words of the constitution after the preamble are "all legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a congress of the united states." Note the word "ALL".

So courts have no authority to write, rewrite, or repeal laws. THINK, you stupid miserable tranny puta.

Courts don't rewrite laws. They interpret them when there are disagreements about their meaning.

But you will note that granting all legislative powers to Congress doesn't give Congress the power to interpret the Constitution. Nor does it give Congress the power to pass legislation that violates the Constitution.
If we accepted your interpretation of the Constitution then Congress could pass any laws they want to banning guns and there would be no ability to go to court to overturn those laws. After all you claimed the word "all" gives them power to do whatever they want.

It is the absolute height of stupidity to believe that the framers of the Constitution would create a new government with an exact list of prescribed powers and countless restrictions listed and then turn over the power to define those restrictions to that very government. It is the reason why the Preamble starts with 'we the people', because we the people are the final say on the constitution.

Fifteen out of 50 Republican Senators were willing to define “woman” when questioned by the Daily Caller, while some government officials, including all 50 Senate Democrats, have apparently stayed silent about their definition of the word.

Yes. We the people can overturn any USSC decision by amending the Constitution. Unless we amend it, the USSC's interpretation is what is considered the current meaning.

I guess that means at minimum 35 GOP Senators shouldn't be in Congress then if we apply the GOP standard to the GOP. If we apply the Democratic standard to the Democrats they are willing to live by the standard they applied to others.

nullification is very simple. If the government wants to try someone for a crime that we consider the government has no power over, like marijuana, we simply vote 'not guilty'.......eventually the government will stop prosecuting to lose

Of course you do know that the Daily Caller is Tucker Carlson, if you were a Democrat would you return a call from Tucker? Do you think any Republican answers when Rachel Maddox calls?

I get that in todays hyper political world, some questions should be avoided, but i'm left perplexed at how a question that basic can be a trap.
