PC Bro's Strike Again on Blake Lively

Not worth the effort because as TD said above you're just being obtuse here.

I figured you would not be able to....

What your doing is called, "throwing shade" making veiled undefined allegations that might make some people who don't look into it feel like you have a point, but when asked to explain it, you simply cant. Scratch the surface and you see its a thin veneer.

this thread is worthless without pictures of the aforementioned booty

Agreed and touché. In my defense, which is weak, I said in the OP I couldn't post the pictures and to click on the link to see them. However rules are rules and I didn't follow them so I deserve all scorn heaped on me.

This is your attempt at diverting. TD nailed why up above.

So.. am I to understand that the PC debate is about defending people who work to be famous who don't like it when someone disagrees with or does not like something they say in public.

She is the famous Blake Lively, tell the haters to fuck off! I am often attacked here for my opinions or positions or something I say, I don't cry that you people are trying to force me to be PC. I don't give a shit what other people think about me.

For thousands of years people have censored themselves in public because they want a certain perception by the public. Business men do it, lawyers do it, politicians do it, and if they feel that's what's best for them fine... but the price for being straightforward with who you are and saying just want you want, is that not as many people will like you. You simply have to decide what is important to you. If fame and wealth is important, you might present a certain image, if its not don't.

But someone who expresses themselves in public should not turn around and whine because it offended some idiot or some idiots. You don't have a right to control what others think about you or what they say their opinion is about you!

I see, so TD said I was being obtuse so it makes it okay to refuse to clarify what you are alleging, Gotcha. That's a good place for you to hide.

You just made a large effort to show you either really don't understand this issue or more than likely to just show how obtuse you can be.

So, explain what I got wrong to me... I am listening.

You claim I don't understand the issue, yet you wont define the issue!

Maybe its you who does not understand? I just explained my take on it to you... you refuse to do the same!

If Blake Lively says something I don't like, do I not have a right to voice my opinion on it?

Read the first paragraph of what TD wrote in his post.

And then read up on what is being considered cultural appropriation today.

He is being intentionally obtuse because to acknowledge you have a point with your OP would force to prick the fantasy balloon that all complaints about political correctness is about white people wanting to say the N word.

Despite all their bluster, I find liberals to be very shallow thinkers

This is simply an idiotic statement made to prevent the defining of a vague phrase people use to throw shade. Its an attempt to get away with shallow allegations and use an undefined term to make vague complaints about anyone who expresses an negative opinion.

LOL Hey Wacko, did you see South Park this weekend? They were at war internet "sponsored content" as news. They started with "PC Principle" taking over as the new principle at South Park and PC Principle had an amazing resemblance to Jim McMahon of Bears fame. They left no bridge unburned! LOL

You watch South Park and expect to be taken seriously?

Your link is very light on facts about what happened regarding the yoga.

Do I think the University of Ottawa should cancel a free yoga class because of complaints that its "cultural appropriation", no I don't.
Do I think its the University's right to stop offering a free yoga class for any reason they chose... yes.
Do I suspect this article is not giving the full story, yes strongly.
Do I think its some huge national problem because the U. of Ottawa cancelled its free Yoga Class, no.

I think most of the whining about PC is shade for something bigger that nobody really wants to talk about.

1) South Park is freaking hilarious

2) You won't see a better take down and mocking of PC culture than on South Park

3) South Park is freaking hilarious

4) You actually embarrass yourself making that comment

We'll go back to what was said earlier then. You are either being obtuse or you really do live in this rich white man's bubble and are clueless to the cultural issues taking place in our country.

You go ahead and think PC is code for white people wanting to say the N word. Much easier and less thinking for you that way.

Cawacko, do people who are concerned about cultural appropriation have a right to share their opinion and concern? Do they have a right to speak out?

And in response we all have a right to tell them to fuck off if we want... you see its about a free exchange of opinions, but you are seeking to shut down one side of the debate.

So give me an example different than a free yoga class at a Canadian college.
