Paying for unjust search. Upside down world.

here's how this is going to work.

1) police and local gov entity will refuse to pay
2) injured lady will be forced to spend her own money to file suit against police and local agency
3) who ever represents the city will drag this out for all eternity, or at least as long as possible
4) this will either end up being settled by the local gov entity for the bill and lawyer fees while they admit no wrongdoing on the part of the officers, or
a judge will issue a summary dismissal based on qualified immunity doctrine and longtime viability of reliable informants as endorsed by our court system for decades.

we have only the rights the gov is willing to put up with anymore.

how do you like your nanny state/police state now?
 
She can and probably will sue the city, the problem is that the city will make a payoff so this will never go to court, If this goes to court and she can get the legal representation that she will need, then the whole patriot act thing where the police can harass and trample all over the Bill of Rights would have to be amended or thrown out.
