I don't have a problem with southern communities memorializing their historical figures where appropriate. I can see where a largely black community would find a statue of Robert E. Lee offensive and other communities a great Southern hero.
For exampl I know this clown here in Ohio who flies a Confederate battle flag in front of his home. He's an unapologetic bigot and I've told him if he's not proud to be a Buckeye move South. When I lived in the South I kept my mouth shut about it.

What did Hillary get for winning the popular vote? A PARTICIPATION TROPHY? Once again the disconnect from logic and reason is demonstrated by a radical socialist. First they gestate a thread dedicated to making fun of participation trophies that are given for coming in 2nd...... implying they mean nothing....but in the next breath they claim they do mean something by saying that its something that the current President cannot do.....win the popular vote (a battle) but the lose war (the general election), when the rules of engagement are applied. An obvious disconnect from reality.
I guess Hillary's participation trophy is "special"?
What did the demwits do with the trophy? They continue to shine and wax it on a daily basis and hold it up like its a gold medal in the "Special Olympics"

And of course Fox loves Russia, that why they did a special report when Trump took out about 2 dozen of their aircrafts in Syria and was the first to report that Trump sent US military jets to confront the Russian bombers nearing US airspace near Alaska. Yep...they are in love with Russia.
But I still enjoying talking about Hillary's participation trophy for playing in the general election and winning the POPULAR VOTE...sure she deserved that special participation trophy for coming in second place under the rules of engagement in the general.
