A Southwest Airlines flight from Indianapolis to Los Angeles was diverted to Kansas City and searched on Sunday because several passengers were behaving suspiciously, the FBI said.

"The flight crew diverted the flight to Kansas City out of an abundance of caution based upon suspicious behavior displayed by several passengers," FBI spokesperson Bridget Patton in Kansas City said in a statement.

All passengers were taken off the plane and those in question were interviewed by law enforcement, Patton said. They were later re-booked to continue on a different flight, she said.

Asked what constituted suspicious behavior, Patton replied in an email that the passengers were "unruly."

THEY'D PISS THEIR PANTIES IF THEY HAD TO FACE ARMED TERRORISTS. IT'S SAFER TO PARADE AROUND IN TEXAS

Demonstrators in Irving, Texas, protested on the sidewalk outside a mosque with guns, Islamophobic signs and American flags.

The dozen or so demonstrators gathered outside the Islamic Center of Irving.

One sign read "Stop the Islamization of America" and another, with arrows pointing at armed protesters dressed in military clothes and face masks, said "The solution to Islamic terrorism".

"We are here protesting Syrian refugees coming to America, protesting the Islamization of America," spokesman David Wright told Fox 4 News. "I think the popular belief is people are scared. They're scared to say anything about it. They're scared to come out to a place like this and stand in front of a mosque and protest Islam."

Wright, who was carrying a 12-gauge shotgun, told The Dallas Morning News that his weapon was mainly for self-defense.

Two men were kept from boarding a flight from Chicago to Philadelphia because they were speaking Arabic, one of several incidents reflecting public paranoia since the Paris attacks.

Maher Khalil and Anas Ayyad were told by a gate agent at Midway Airport that they wouldn't be allowed on the plane because a fellow passenger had overheard them speaking Arabic -- and was afraid to fly with them.

A group of Arabic-speaking men were kicked off a Southwest Airlines flight in Houston.

Flight 126 was about to leave Chicago when passengers say a group of six to eight menwanted to all sit together.

According to the passengers, the men were of middle eastern descent.

That made some people nervous, including the pilot, who ultimately kicked them off of the plane.

Passenger Michael Hust said, "The uneasiness for me sitting behind them that they were just constantly looking around trying to figure out where everyone was sitting and it was kind of like, hey, we are all going to the same place."
