Palin's hypocrisy!

She's tapped into and in tune with how the majority of the country feels. They're sick of big government, the spending, the back rooms deals and the lying, POS liberal, scum like obama, and anyone that thinks all those people are sick of those things just because they're racists is either an idiot, or just trying to stir the pot by throwing out buzz words... or both.

"The majority of the country"?

The majority of the country's opinions of Palin have been net-negative since the fall of 2008.

"Hope and change" is no worse than the sappy "morning again in America" BS raygun was peddling back in the '80's, or that total oxymoron "compassionate conservatism" from bush.

Reagan did use some "slogans" as has every politician since Jesus Christ....so whats our point? No one claimed "hope and change" was any worse or better a slogan than others....

and the term "compassionate conservative" didn't originate with George Bush...

Dixie claimed that "hope and change" are "platitudes... intellectual liberal pinhead buzzwords for "STATUS QUOT!" That doesn't sound noncommittal to me.

Maybe the other term didn't originate with bush but it was his buzzword during the 2000 campaign.

A majority of Americans thinks she's "honest and trustworthy" and "cares about the needs of people like us," and 64 percent believe she's "a good role model for women."

That was reported in November of 2009....so I'd say you're wrong as usual....
and this has NOTHING to do with her qualifications for serving as president...
polls indicate that most consider her not qualified..and your post still incorrect...

and after endorsing rick perry for governor, i'd say she's no more qualified to pick what ice cream she's going to eat either.

Well, liberal media and Democrats are damn good at creating and perpetuating 'buzzwords'....especially to the detriment of the right...

thats Dixies opinion and he entitled to it....and I agree, they are platitudes....so what....?

And you're entitled to that opinion...irrelevant though it is....

irrelevant? she's thrown the entire TEA party movement in Texas in to utter chaos. Half the movement wants her out, the other half is still trying to figure out why she did it. I seriously doubt my opinion is irrelevant, since it matches a sizable voter block, but whatever. you support that sinking ship of same career politicians for big government, just a different letter.

I might buy your argument if I were voting her in as "mother of the year", but we're talking about her running for the position of leader of the free world. Try to discern the difference.

Jimmy Carter now has an approval rating of 64% because of his character, intelligence and uprightness but that doesn't mean we'd want him as president again.

What's wrong with Perry?

Perry is a former Democrat, Former campaign manager for Gore, who switched parties to become LT. governor of TX. He's a RINO career politician who pushes to turn all our highways in to tollways, wants to build a 'trans national corridor highway' for commercial trucks to travel faster between mexico and the states, using eminent domain to steal private property to do so. he's a liberal politician in sheeps clothing.

So you are saying that his statements about seccession and smaller government are a ruse?

She's running for President ? get a grip honey....

When and IF if becomes a FACT that shes in the race, get back to me....don't be so gullible....

for years, Perry has pandered to the biggest group of voters that will get him elected, then follow his the standard elitist objective. They are indeed a ruse designed to make him look good to texan voters. he's full of shit.

Obviously nobody's running TODAY but Palin expressed interest. Why did she say this if the thought didn't even cross her mind?

"I think that it would be absurd to not consider what it is that I can potentially do to help our country," Palin said in the interview when asked if she would run for President. " I won't close the door that perhaps could be open for me in the future."

I meant it was irrelevant to the discussion of her personal popularity...

If you're moving the topic to the Texas Gov. thats another story....

and I can't help...I don't have a clue why she endorsed this guy or why the hell Texans elected him....personally, I think hes an ass no matter what party he calls his own....akin to Sen. Arlin Asshole in Pa....

Cause it keeps her in the spotlight and has all the loons cackling about her...
and it helps her book sales....so take a pill, relax....

i told you guys before, palin is not good for the republican party

she quit her job and stupid gaffes like the notes on the hand are just amateurish, she gives terrible interviews....

do you guys even know her platform?

I know I am late to this thread but I laughing my ass of at Jarod's opening post. Asking how someone is doing as President is practicing the politics of personal destruction? WTF Jarod?

I can just see you at work Jarod when your boss wants to discuss your performance and you ask him to stop attacking you personally.
