Yes, Kennedy and Johnson both were responsible for starting and escalating the war in Vietnam. And Nixon escalated it agains when he was in office.

I don't know where you get the idea that because someone else did it too that it is still not evil.

Obama's shit is bad, and I have said that. But Nixon tried to steal the presidential election and broke into the office of his only competition in the election. And then lied about it and tried to cover it up.

Let me say it again: I don't know where you get the idea that because someone else did it too that it is still not evil.

We have no idea what was on those 18 minutes of tape that were erased. It could have been something worse or could have just been damning evidence linking him to more in Watergate. In any event, he was NOT caught and punished. He lied and then he quit before any of that could happen. And then he was pardoned.

Clinton lied about whether or not he had sex with a willing intern. Nixon lied about whether he used government resources to break into and bug the national office of a political party. See the difference? But let me try one more time so maybe you wil understand: I don't know where you get the idea that because someone else did it too that it is still not evil.

How about if you are going to admit that Kennedy and Johnson are as responsible for nam as Nixon is...which he is not...still then how about when insinuating Nixon is evil for it you include the two dems who took us there. I guess if Nixon is evil for nam then so are Johnson and Kennedy.

It has nothing to do with "keeping up" you are hardly a heavy-weight. I was merely pointing out a fact; you screwed up the formatting, something only a light-weight would do. :pke:

The problem is that you always manage to miss the irony, or perhaps it's deliberate, that to slam Nixon for anything one must include those who are just as guilty or be righteously seen as nothing but a shill.

Lying while under oath to a Grand Jury while you are a seated president is always serious, and impeachable.

And for the record, it was never known or proven that Nixon knew about or ordered the break in. Nixon was pressured into resignation AFTER being busted for interfering in the FBI investigation.
