Palin resigns as AK governor

This is the end of Palin's political career.

yep and a good thing

Well, they said that about Richard Nixon after he lost to Kennedy too. Sarah Palin is still very young, and there will be plenty of opportunities for her to run in the future. She is obviously not going to run in 2012, as much as you pinheads had your hearts set on it. I do think she will be a major factor in reshaping the republican party, and being free from obligations as Alaska's governor, affords her such an opportunity.

Boy, this is gonna put a burn on the MSM and the lefties asses..who they gonna attack now?

Guess they will have to go after Rush again..the Leader of the Gop..:cof1:

What makes you think this will stop them from attacking her? Did her being Gov earn her the scorn and ridicule? No.

Yep Based on that Palin is for sure out of the politics business.

She stated her reasons. She had 18 phony ethics charges launched against her, ALL of whcih she won, but with much evidence that the opposition was not going to stop at a huge expense to Alaska. That the personal attacks had become too harmful for her family, especially the latest attack against her special needs child by a prominant democrat activist, and finally so that she could allow the needs of Alaska to stop being hindered by all the aforementioned issues. She has grit and the right priorities. I hope she does not return to politics...she's too good for politics.

Where did I call you a pinhead for not liking Palin?

You might be a pinhead for reading shit that ain't there, which might also explain why you dislike Palin, but I didn't say a thing about you being a pinhead because you don't like Palin.

You can say she is done, many people said Richard Nixon was done in 1962. It's a free country, you can believe whatever you want to, I won't begrudge you that. I think it is way too premature to say her political career is over... this isn't the middle of a presidential campaign! There is plenty of time for Sarah Palin to define herself to America, and overcome this negative left-wing pawl, which you obviously bought into. She is a smart and articulate woman, who seems to be convicted in principle to Ronald Reagan conservatism. Yurt, I don't know much about you, I don't know what the fuck you are... don't really care, but I can assure you, the vast and overwhelming majority of the right, is looking for someone like a Sarah Palin.

That said, how can Sarah Palin be what the right needs, if the left is allowed to continue lobbing sleazy journalistic cheap shots at her, and her family, down her special needs child? Newt Gingrich saw when it was time for him to leave the political arena, and in that time, he has become a very strong conservative advocate and voice on the national stage. Whether a possible presidential run is in his future is anyone's guess at this point, but it's most certainly a possibility... it wasn't a remote possibility in the atmosphere he left behind.

I wouldn't be counting Sarah Palin out of anything..

The lefties might think they won one here...But the last laugh could be on all you...

She will get my vote when she runs for the.....HISTORIC first woman President of the United States...

Oh dear, will the Hillary be pissed when she sees she gave up her chance for "the Obama"..:cof1:

Nixon is also famous for saying, "I'm not a quitter."

A sad day for Alaska, but could be a great start for the United States of America...well see..

God speed Sarah..
Mwahahahahahahhaha, what really funny is your serious. Well can you guess the answer to my riddle? What do I, George W. Bush and Sarah Palin have in common?

answer below.

Were all 3 dangerously underqualified to be President of the United States. LOL

The way the media and liberal hatemongers harrassed her and her family I hope she stays out of politics....she's just too damned real and honest for the assholes.
Oh well, if you can't handle the heat stay out of the kitchen. Considering wing nuts penchant for swift boating American hero's you're sure as hell not gonna hear a lot of sympathy.

Palin isn't a quitter because in her mind winners quit and quitters stay in the game. Seriously:

Life is too short to compromise time and resources... it may be tempting and more comfortable to just keep your head down, plod along, and appease those who demand: "Sit down and shut up", but that's the worthless, easy path; that's a quitter's way out.

What the fuck is that?

The wing nuts didn't have to do anything with the swift boat vets..who by the way were a group of Vietnam veterans that the left continue to smear..

they served with Lurch and then he came back after spending 4 months in combat, and stabbed all those men in the back...

So you agree that using a WOMANS downs syndrome baby as political fodder is justified, because a group of grown men made a commercial to go against someone they felt was a traitor..

the lefties are a nasty piece of work, and the American people are getting a good dose of it now..

Keep it up... :clink:

mmmmwwwaaa, both in your stupid little riddle has way more experience and is way more qualified than that community organizer you all bow down to everyday..

again, as Pete Rose would say, "Wanna bet?" LOL

Palin is a political light weight. She's unquestionably unqualified to be President. There are a number of women in Republican politics who are vastly more qualified for the Presidency then Palin. Rice, Dole, Collins, Whitman, Hutchinson, Fiorina, Snowe.

I'm particularly fond of Christine Todd Whitman. She has a lot of potential to bring the Republican party back towards the mainstream and away from the far right. She had the courage and the character to resign her cabinet position from the inept and extreme Bush administration on principle. This gives her a lot of street cred with moderates, independents and former main street Republicans and blue dog Democrats. She has the brains, education and executive experience to distance the Republican party from it's extremist right wing which desperately needs to be done if the Republicans are to grow and become relevent again.

And she's a direct descendant of Lincoln. I like Christine Todd Whitman.

and where did Palin receive her graduate degree and in what topic? What experience are you talking about? My mayor has more significant executive experience then Sarah Palin does. Obviously she's not way more qualified. Her selection as running mate is the second biggest reason McCain lost. So go blow smoke up someone else ass.

Is she really? I did not know that. Working in the environmental industry I was very impressed with the job she did at EPA as its administrator. She did a good job of balancing EPA's mission of protecting human health/safety and the environment against our economic needs. She's a very talented executive.
