I think probably about 85-90% of this country is (or was) receptive to the idea of REFORMS in the health care system. REFORMS... not a complete government takeover! There were dozens of suggestions by republicans, which may have been advantageous to all Americans, and could have corrected many of the problems they face, with health care cost. What happened to those suggestions? Well, Obama told them to sit down and shut up, the election was over. Now you want to spin that into the mean old republicans just wanted to stick it to Obama... but that's not what they did when they went in good faith, to the White House, to discuss the matter. OBAMA stuck it to himself when he rejected ANY Republican idea, and allowed Nancy Pelosi to ram through Socialized Medicine, against the will of the people. Now guess what is going to happen? It's going to be regurgitated in your face!

Again Yurt, when did Palin say that it was "part of the plan" to be captured? In the end, was a "warning" issued to the British by Revere? Yes, it was... after he was captured. So a PART OF the story, is that Revere warned the Brits that they would not succeed, that we had their number, that we were waiting for them and ready.... that is part of history, and it can't be refuted. You are now trying to manipulate what she actually SAID into what you WISH she had said, because it sounds stupid. YOU are STUPID, not PALIN!

Palin did not say that Revere was riding his horse through town when he was being interrogated by the British. If that is what you comprehended, have yourself checked for mental retardation, because chances are, you are afflicted. You are trying (desperately) to manipulate what she said, which probably wasn't worded as clearly as she should have, into some kind of idiotic "gotchya" moment, because you don't like Sarah Palin.

Yurt, you are taking something she said in a figurative way, to imply she intended it literally. I don't understand why you fail to not see that. I have already said, it is probably not the best choice of words she used, in how she drew the figurative picture, but that doesn't mean she intended it literally, as it is being interpreted. She was delivering a political speech, not giving children a history lesson! Her intent was not to teach her audience perfectly accurate details of Paul Revere's ride, it was used to make a bigger and broader point, in a very philosophical way. Now, could she have prefaced her statement with the words "in a sense..." or "figuratively speaking..."? I have already stated that, yes, she could have worded it differently, but I get what she was trying to say, because I am not a retarded pinhead like you, apparently.

So for the record... YURT thinks Sarah Palin believes Paul Revere rode through the town ringing his bell, warning the BRITS that we weren't going to let them take our guns away and we were going to kick their asses! He thinks Palin believes that is what happened, and this is what she said.
I mean really, Yurt... the woman owns a freaking bus... I think she probably has a higher intelligence level than that.
