My thought is that you seem triggered.

Doesn’t matter to me how it gets paid for. I am good with it either way. It is 0.01% of the budget.

I care about the lie, and I care about the money.

I mostly care about the destruction to the White House, but that has already happened.

I do not have a problem with a Ballroom being built, I do care about the failure to follow the process because the process would ensure it is it is architecturally consistent with the other portions of the White House, and a reasonable size.

My problem is with GOP actual policy from A to Z. I've no problem with a nice ballroom. It won't be a fancy White House dancehall that prevents universal healthcare. Our insane military expenses are the more likely culprit.

As Damocles pointed out you guys demanded this. So it is now going through Congress. He wanted to pay for it with donor money but you and your ilk shit your pants over that and said you didn’t oppose the ballroom just that it had to go through Congress. That is the law, that is the Constitution, money can be donated to the treasury but Congress must authorize all spending.

Donations still can be made with the request that it go to replacing the destroyed without authorization East Wing.

So your saying because Democrats opposed this Trump whim, including in their rationale that such a project should be transparent and approved by Congress beforehand, it is now Democrats fault the GOP is indirectly attempting to sneak thru billions to pay for that which Trump said would be covered by private donations?
