PA Trumper & Bible humper family of 3 carries out murder-suicide pact...

It's such a cult. When people start gushing over Trump like he's the messiah or something, I just get confused. He is so clearly a grifter & a charlatan.

But, most cult leaders are. People just want to believe so badly, they shut the reality out.
And when they wander down the Qanon rabbit hole, they're lost forever.

They had two years to ponder their plan. You would think they were over the trump historic ass beating?

Sounds like the wife was the bigger MAGA loon. That poor daughter is better off dead than being a home schooled, book fearing Christian nut job.

Her YouTube rants are very bizarre and unnerving...but if you listen to them, they sound pretty similar to the garbage MAGA posts here every day.

Like...really similar.

Because she was programmed. Sad, really. They should have just moved to Florida where they would be safe from books.

I didn't see your thread until after I posted this one.

I think there is at least one more.

Maybe two.
Not a problem. This happens with every issue.

The more threads, the better the chance that people will see the story.

Disagreed. Charlie Manson thought the Beatles were sending messages to him through their albums. He thought the song Helter Skeltor was a message to start a race war. By your logic, the Manson murders were the fault of the Beatles. I disagree.

The Beatles were a musical group. Your attempt to compare them to charismatic religious and political figures is misguided.

Manson was a liar and a grifter who, though a sociopath and/or psychopath, was probably as sane as a judge. I doubt he really believed any of that Helter Skelter (not Skeltor) business. He likely just used it to con those formerly innocent young kids into being his willing servants.

AND.... he and his clan were all heavily into LSD.

The MAGA kooks in this family were nothing remotely similar.

Crazy people do crazy things. Many use religion or politics to justify their actions. That's not the fault of the religion or politics per se. However, when someone like Trump ramps up the crazies, the person ramping up the crazies should be held accountable for their actions. This was the case in Pensacola, FL when a preacher ramped up a nutjob to murder an abortion doctor.

Though I agree with the part about holding the instigators responsible, I never said it was the "fault" of religion or politics.

I said it was their ZEALOTRY about it that drove them over the edge.

But I'm not interested in getting into another endless pissing match with you over it just because you have to have the last word.

Those things might not always cause the insanity but in many cases it exacerbates it and ratchets up the extreme behavior.

Had it not been for Trump, this family may well have just continued on as a bunch of harmless religious nuts.

Plus, I said it was the zealotry for religion/politics/ideology that drives them to insanity.

I believe that it often times does exactly that.
Agree. Typically, ultra religious don't question. Especially when someone is selling what they're buying. No doubt this family never heard of 'The Apprentice'.

They knew little of trump, even though they neighbored NY. The back woods of Pa. is littered with adamant trump supporters who, like Southerners who refused to accept that the Civil War was lost, will not accept that he isn't POTUS.

trump tapped into the easily led, and for some the programming was more successful than others.

What's odd is that they had 2 years to come to their senses re. the end of the nation. I have to assume they watched Tuckems and Hannity every night.

Probably not the best analogy, as Manson and crew were doing a lot of heavy drugs. Although Manson was crazy to begin with, I don't think the acid helped his delusions.

With a lot of help from Bill O'Leilly

Wanna guess how many Americans are on drugs? LOL

The point being that crazy people are drawn to ideological causes, be they religious or political. Why? It gives them an excuse to behave badly. Mostly selfishly, and often to their own detriment, as the OP demonstrates.
