So you are prejudiced against people that have overcome mental illness. Got it! I thought liberals were more caring and inclusive than that.
He didn't overcome mental illness, dummy. He only learned how to control it by taking meds and using other coping mechanisms. I guess you never looked up the symptoms of DID so I did it for you.
A person with DID has two or more distinct identities. The “core” identity is the person’s usual personality. “Alters” are the person’s alternate personalities. Some people with DID have up to 100 alters. Alters tend to be very different from one another. The identities might have different genders, ethnicities, interests and ways of interacting with their environments.
Other common signs and symptoms of DID can include:
- Anxiety.
- Delusions.
- Depression.
- Disorientation.
- Drug or alcohol abuse.
- Memory loss.
- Suicidal thoughts or self-harm.
Just be aware of your double standard in criticizing Fetterman's symptoms from the stroke, while ignoring the very real deficits caused by DID, such as which personality might be elected and which personality would be doing the actual work. And I won't even go into Walker's physical damage caused by years of playing violent sports.
