OWS Protesters: We don't need no stinkin jobs

However, you do understand that most are there protesting for systemic change, correct? They're not protesting for individual jobs just for themselves?

so....they are ALSO protesting lack of jobs, but these jobs are good enough for them

like i said....faux protesters...watch the video

Like I said before, I think you need to look into what they're protesting a bit more. To say they're protesting for individual jobs for themselves is just inaccurate; for the most part, they're looking for more opportunity for the middle & lower classes in general, as well as help with things like education & transportation.

did you watch the video?

Of course it was a hustle you ignorant shill.

The headhunters were fake. The streetwise New Yorkers had no problem determining that.

You are a hack.

you need to learn the definition of hustle.

Offering someone a REAL application for a REAL job is not a hustle.

That said, as Onceler mentioned, the majority are not protesting for a job. They are protesting to end the corruption on Wall Street.

Yet they ignore a President who has collected more money from them than any previous President? I don't think that is what they are really protesting, it makes no sense to protest there when the real corruption comes from their representatives.

Wall Street is symbolic of the inequity that the current system creates, on several levels. That is why they are protesting Wall Street.

They are protesting there because they've fallen for the class warfare thing and fail to perform root cause analysis. If they are truly protesting corruption in Wall Street the place to protest is in front of the White House and at the Capital. They aim at the wrong target.

There is no "right or wrong." Like I said, it's a symbol, and a powerful one. It's Wall Street where hedge fund managers make hundreds of millions in ways that most don't really understand, and where brokers get huge bonuses even when "the folks" have lost big in their 401K's. The idea isn't to protest where action can be taken; it's to protest the most visible symbol of what they see as wrong w/ the system.

A hustle involves any form of manipulation.
The AIM shills were trying to hustle the protesters into discrediting themselves.
It is not complicated.

So the protesters according to you, recognized the hustle and yet chose to discredit themselves anyway? Interesting theory of yours. Not sure that I would agree with it.

There is a sap or two in every crowd.
The video proves nothing. No one in their right mind would set up a job stand at a protest.
AIM and you should be embarrased.

Again, that would be borne out in the signs, etc. if WHAT they were protesting actually confirmed that they understood the source of the corruption. Ignoring this President who collects craptons of cash from the people they are protesting shows that they have no measure of what they are protesting. It would be like protesting the Pentagon and spitting on soldiers to protest the actions of Bush. People there understood the root cause, where they were at didn't make the difference. Nobody was trying to make "citizen's arrests" of soldiers... They protested using effigies of Bush, burning them, hanging them...

This protest, we see the signs and what they say, how they act, what they do, and it makes it clear that they aim at the wrong target. They seem to have no concept of cause.

Honestly, you're just inserting your own concerns & agenda into this analysis. What they're protesting - most of them, from what I can garner - goes beyond one President, or admin. It has much more to do with the inequities and abuses of the system in general, that have been building for decades. To many, Wall Street is the biggest symbol of that. Obama benefitting from corporate donors is just another symptom.

Society has winners and losers. These are the losers and they will always be losers. You can't make life "fair". Some people just don't have what it takes. Reality.
