How Did Occupy D.C. Protesters Respond to a Table Full of Job Applications?

The news media watchdog Accuracy in Media (AIM) released a video Wednesday that may denounce the notions from some that the Occupy protesters are primarily concerned with jobs.

In it, “head hunters” set up a table full of job applications near the protest and start offering them to protesters. But the reception they get, according to the video, is less than warm. To many, that might seem odd considering the protesters have camped out in our nations capital for over a month following the Occupy Wall Street protest that began on September 17, partly because of no jobs. Accuracy in Media put it this way in a written statement:

“After more than a month of protest demands for better employment opportunities and benefits, Accuracy in Media saw fit to test their desires with…employment applications. Our ‘headhunters’ were treated to every excuse as to why these jobs aren’t good enough for them. We guess middle management opportunities with healthcare and 401k benefits aren’t desirable anymore.”

AIM Director of Public Relations & Online Development Logan Churchwell told The Blaze by phone Wednesday that while the “head hunters” in the video were AIM employees, the hundreds of job applications they had on hand were indeed genuine.

Those righting hacks in aim? God your a simpleton

Hit you in the face with some truth and you ridicule it....you're more of a left wing nut than I thought...

Its like offering the homeless man on the side of the road with the sign, "will work for food", a bag of hamburgers and watch him throw them away....I've done it and seen it....makes you see the reality rather than whats presented to you.....

one thing i've noticed about some of the OWS people. they expect jobs to be handed to them instead of having to actually compete for them.

that you see a dichotomy proves you're an idiot

No reason to resort to namecalling. I just find the many threads & misconceptions about the protesters from you & others to be interesting. Particularly after all of the defensiveness about threads that were started about the TEA party.

There really isn't too much in the way of constructive analysis of some of the goals of the movement, or trying to dispute/address those. It's more generalizations & attacks about the kind of people they seem to be...

it is unfortunate you think exposing the truth is an attack. which proves even further, you're an idiot.

Well, the conclusion of "faux protesters" isn't really based on any scientific method - it seems to be more something you want to believe, judging by your other copious threads on the topic of the protesters.

The earlier thread was even more enigmatic, where you seemed to think that no people with wealth or living well could support the principles espoused by OWS without being hypocritical. It showed a lack of understanding regarding what they are after.

And really, again - there is no need for namecalling.

Public high schools in Cali. Yurtsie you wouldn't change anything about wall street? You were cool with the bank bailouts?

if you would stop smoking so much weed, you could remember i was against TARP. these protests are not about the bank bailouts idiot. if they are, they are a few years late...lol.

these are nothing but faux protests. if they want to make a change, go to capital hill and the WH. wall street, by and large, is doing nothing illegal and nothing wrong. these protests are a waste of time. and as the OP shows, they don't even care about jobs.

why are you defending these idiots?

I for some reform on wall street, mostly I think they are spoiled rich kids who should have been run off on day two. That said I don't suck fox nut.
