Where in the Constitution does it promise any right to marry?
Walt, is this a 10th Amendment issue or a 14th Amendment issue?
Where in the Constitution does it promise any right to marry?
Where in the Constitution does it promise any right to marry?
LOL.
such thought trash.
clutch your pearls, gertrude.
jeese dont get hysterical...You see, Gin Sake is actually responding to what is happening. There is no explicitly enumerated right to an abortion, or to marriage, so does that make them states rights? The Supreme Court seems to be saying yes. So will same sex and interracial marriage be the next to be struck down?
Obergefell v. Hodges (same sex marriage) has only existed for 7 years, so it would probably be the easiest to reverse. You would think Loving v. Virginia which has existed for 55 years would be impossible to reverse, but Roe v. Wade had existed for nearly 50 years. These things can be reversed.
Two of the justices are in interracial marriage, which might make them think twice before reversing it. None are in same sex marriages.
How's about aborting the number one enemy against America and humanity as a result of the sleaze, stench, trash and seditious corruption at tRump causing a miscarriage of the so-called republican party that has rotted its soul to the core, and that has become a festering destructed and poisonous problem on humanity that is incapable of sustaining and co-existing in a civilized society.
You're truly insane!
You're truly insane!
Why do you say such things? This opinion is when one is attempting to express the reality of it all that the GOP is not only insane, but a un-American treasonous, seditious and a moral rot stain on humanity and that goes for their commander in chief of the sewer tRump at all being moral rot criminals against humanity on Earth.
jeese dont get hysterical...
The implied right to privacy (Constitutional basis underpinning) was found as a function of bodily autonomy and states not being able to restrict a woman's right to such. Roe was the decision based on such
so you have have to find a right that is based on the same predicate -not already enumerated for a SCOTUS to hear an overturn on it. I cant think f any except 4th, but that is about privacy of personal papers not body autonomy
gay marriage is the 14th. Other then that the states have power to design restrictions
What I want to know is are these new states restrictions reviewable by the courts for equal access etc. ??
