overthrow state government or comply and be a slave

Run along, Fredo. Go practice pushing the plunger on yourself.

don't be a fucking moron. do you think the founders of ANY state would have given the state government the power to confiscate the property of innocent people, forcing them to sue the government to get their property back at their own expense?
In order to preserve property rights, but still allow the government to take property at times if it was appropriate, James Madison proposed the Eminent Domain amendment to the Constitution on June 8, 1789, along with a list of about twenty other amendments to the Constitution.

[h=3]Eminent Domain Clause - Revolutionary War and Beyond[/h]

I left MA, then NY, and chose a state with more freedom. That's not running away - it's voting with my feet.

I get your point but government overreach is a problem that should confronted. It's a danger so wherever it exists

Sez no one on JPP who was actually at the Insurrection and Trump's attempted coup.

Snowflakes are all talk, no action. :rofl2:

eminent domain, or the takings clause, requires fair compensation. That is not the same as civil asset forfeiture, which is what the OP is about.

"You lying"? Are you reverting to age 6, Fredo?

Again, not a fucking lawyer nor a judge. When the hammer falls, it won't be my hand on it, dumbass.

You lying is the typical thing.

technically it's a gerund. a nounalization of an -ing verb.

example sentence: "living alone is an achievement she was very proud of, considering her retardation."

I ask that Massachusetts residents respect the right of my state to govern as we please, and in turn I'll do the same.

Yep. My great grandfather fought for the North in the Civil War. My father fought in WWII. My uncle died in Korea and my cousins fought in Nam.

And your ancestors left their native lands for this one. Or according to you, ran away.

Wrong again. They didn't run, they just moved over here. They were still under the King's government until they got sick of it and fought for our freedom.

Dude I grew up in Massachusetts, where everything is illegal unless the Dear State.gov declares it permissible. I left there "as soon as I could", and could care less about leaving.

Just curious, can you buy marijuana in the state where everything's illegal (MA) or can you buy marijuana in the state where there's "freedumb" (TX)?
