The core Republican primary voters still are very much for trump. I doubt that will change. You might be right about the Republicans turning this around, but I really do not see it.

Republicans will try to turn it around but the only thing I think they can realistically do by 2022 is flip the Senate by a couple numbers. 2024 might flip the House, but that's a tough row to hoe. They'll lose the POTUS election and Harris, although already the first woman President will become the first elected woman President. Odds are, she'll go on to a second term in 2028 although the Republicans have the opportunity to present a rebuilt, reinvigorated Republican Party by then.

Ok, I don't usually put personal info on this stupid message board, but I was born in 1944 and have an MBA from the liberal bastion of Harvard. Worked in the defense/aerospace industry my entire career, retired from a upper management position and did business with the US government and several foreign governments.
