Our next President is a loon

Has anyone followed his twitter meltdown over the weekend?

The dude is unhinged. It's the same thin-skinned, "me, me, me" stuff we've seen from the get-go, and the same wild exaggerations. He can't be bothered to check out the highly classified PDB's he should now be getting, but when it comes to fairly inconsequential news about recounts & the popular vote (a.k.a. slights to his ego), he just loses it.

And this is all literally a week after he said he will be using twitter much less. He literally can't help himself. It's ridiculously easy to distract this guy.

Your point? If the United States still exists after having a Bill Clinton...deserving impeachment for 8 years, Little George Bush playing cowboy for 8 years...then another 8 years under the dictations of a blatant homosexual black muslim marxist with his tranny mate traversing the world on perpetual vacation....you don't think it stand 8 years of LOONY? Really? Maybe LOONY is what this nation needs....if you think the previous administrations mentioned reflect the NORMS in this nation.

It's more about disrupting America & the west, and depleting our resources & finances.

I'll always contend that we responded exactly the way OBL wanted us to after we were attacked on 9/11. I think that was all he had; it took years of planning & all of the resources they had. They didn't have anything else in the quiver.

His best hope was for us to overreact, and do something exactly like the invasion of Iraq. A 10 year war that cost us trillions, and took us down a notch as a superpower. We probably played right into his hands.

Damn right.
Passed the Patriot Act
Gave voice to Yoo and Sununu
Wasted American treasure and lives
Illegally invaded soveriegn nations
Re-elected the idiot-puppet.
Now we merrilly swirl along the drain waiting to get sucked down while conservatards belittle a man who will someday be held up alongside other giants like Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt.

I have concern about every President. I also know that it is a very sobering job that can humble the biggest narcissist. I also know that we are wired to see the worst in our political opponents. I am guilty of it myself. You will never give him the benefit of the doubt. To be fair I never gave Obama the benefit of the doubt either.

Maybe it stems from us being wrong about the election and we want desperately for those who didn't vote our way to see that we were in fact right?

You survived 8 years of Bush. I survived 8 years of Obama. You will survive 8 years of Trump.

It's early. He hasn't even been inaugurated yet and you have already blown your wad whining about him.

Deep thoughts I know.

I'm impressed. As always, I wish you would post like this more.

Maybe it is just the usual partisan ranting, but Trump is a different animal, and I think you understand that. He was elected to be more than the usual "change agent." People really wanted something wild, to throw chaos into the whole system. It was an incredibly risky choice.

I mean, even little things. He just tweeted that people who burn the flag should be thrown in jail or lose their citizenship.

This is not something new... are you surprise?

im loving it :)

Honestly if I was a terrorist I would be afraid to launch a major attack on the US. You dont know what donny will do.

They don't operate on fear, you lack understanding, these people go into it expecting, hoping, to die. What do they have to fear?

Is that really what he tweeted or did you change it, just a little, to try and make a bigger impression??

Yes, Trump is a very different animal. He has surprised all along and will continue to surprise.

Everyone is continuing to look at Trump through what the consider norms of political discourse and action. He has shown time and time again that he cannot be put into anyone box.

You will drive yourself crazy responding and commenting on every single tweet. People trying to surmise what he is going to do on his cabinet picks are wasting time. He will pick who he picks. And he should get confirmed who he picks.

I am not a Guiliani fan for SoS. I like the Romney and Corker selections. I used to be a Bolton fan but I get more and more isolationist as I get older

I think the vast majority of Americans agree with him.....but that is why we have a bill of rights.....to protect even the mindless fools from the vast majority of those who know better.......what he tweeted doesn't show he's evil.....burning the flag is still the evil......it just shows he has the same feelings about the issue that most other people have.....
so go ahead and burn the flags and wear your castro shirts......you have the right to do it.......just don't think most of us don't realize how stupid you really are.....

Giuliani is nearly as much of a nut as Trump.

Look, I tried the "let's give him a chance" thing for a week. He brought on Sessions and Bannon, and I realized that it's just not going to work for me. Trump isn't a right-wing idealogue, so I'm sure there will be occasional things that he does that I'll support.

But overall, my main emotion heading into his Presidency is fear. He's a loose cannon. The unorthodox m.o. you describe worked great in getting him elected. I have strong doubts that it will translate into actually being a good leader and making sound decisions.

And it's weird, but I never thought "liberty" would be a concept I'd worry about under a GOP admin. It feels more like we're about to enter into a new era of a monarchy than a constitutional republic.

Trump was born with a golden gravy ladle stuck up his ass.
He has never wanted for anything save love and has enough money to buy even that, multiple times.
His connection to the common man is more tenuous than Jeb.
You sick losers are so fucking stupid.

The GOP brought you the Patriot Act.
