I didn't twist anything. I took what you said at face value and called you on it. You may have misspoken. And if you had said so when I first challenged you on it, I would have had no problem with that. But you did some song & dance about using racist and scumbag interchangeably, and that the two sentences I compared were the same, ect ect. In both of those posts I condemned the racists. But I also do not advocate trying to police people based on what they think. If they are ignorant and choose to believe some bullshit, but do not act on those beliefs, I do not seeing convicting them. That is the way this nation's justice system works.

I did not twist anything. I deliberately kept using the exact phrasing you did. You claimed that the military lowered its standards specifically to include racists. There is nothing ambiguous about what you said. I did not twist anything.

No one would have trouble with the fact that the lowered standards did, in fact, result in more scumbags being admitted to the military. But that was not the intent when they lowered the standards. And what you claimed was that they lowered the standards specifically to include the racists. And that is a lie. They did not lower the standards specifically to include racists. They lowered the standards because they needed to bring in more people.

You did, in fact, claim that the military lowered its standards specifically to include racists. That you claim that this is not saying that wanted racists is ridiculous. If they didn't want them, why would they lower the standards to specifically include them?
