Our grotesquely fat president at high risk of heart attack

Didn't he suffer from dementia?

No. From https://winstonchurchill.org/resources/myths/no-abc-churchill-did-not-have-alzheimers/

"“Churchill did not suffer from Alzheimer’s Disease (AD). He had multi-infarct mini-strokes which is associated with a progressive and mild dementia. He did not experience anything like the ravages of progressive AD despite his steady decline over the last three to five years of his life."

This is what my own initial post in this thread was speculating. My dad had this form of memory impairment too. Although he was never overweight like Trump, my dad had advanced cardiovascular disease which affected his legs (PVD), heart, and brain. After he passed (from stroke at age 85), we found his house papered with sticky notes reminding himself to perform all sorts of ADLs. Take out the trash, pay the bills, mail the bills, buy stamps, take medicine, do laundry, vacuum, etc. But he lived alone and independently until his death, which is what he wanted.

What do they mean by "his mental and physical faculties decayed"? Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Alzheimer's and dementia were not interchangeable.

"Churchill spent most of his retirement at Chartwell House in Kent, two miles (3 km) south of Westerham.[SUP][15][/SUP] As Churchill's mental and physical faculties decayed, it is often suggested, he began to lose the battle he had fought for so long against the "black dog" of (clinical) depression. However, the biographical evidence, when carefully and comprehensively studied, suggests that "black dog" is more accurately interpreted as Churchill's metaphor for the temporary, non-disabling psychological reactions of worry and anxiety that he manifested throughout his career following severely adverse difficulties and setbacks." The unfailing remedy for him at such times, which he discovered in 1915, was painting; later on, he added bricklaying at Chartwell to his armamentarium.[SUP][32][/SUP] In advanced old age, his faculties too impaired to enable him to paint, he found some solace in the sunshine and colours of the Mediterranean

No question he's a glutton and I think a very unhappy man.. Melania and Barron aren't around much.. I don't think they take meals together.

The Donald like Big Macs, cheeseburgers, milk shakes, and buckets of Kentucky Fried Chicken.
The very most he can class it up, is well done steak with ketchup.

I gotta believe Melania has better taste, more class, and more self-respect than that. As a general rule of thumb, I don't think they have ever taken meals together on a regular basis.

You're right, they are not the same thing. The end result is similar: the afflicted person loses cognition and eventually physical abilities as well. It's the causes that are different. The kind of dementia that my dad had (although his was mild) and Mr. Churchill had used to be called "organic brain syndrome." Now it's called vascular dementia. The vessels in the brain (and in the carotid arteries) become partially blocked by deposits. That decreases blood flow to the brain and can even cause the mini-infarcts (stroke) that Churchill was said to have.

Given Toadstool's high lipid levels (why they put him on Crestor), physical inactivity, and horrid diet -- along with the observed decline in his ability to speak at a higher level -- I wonder if he isn't showing symptoms of that too.

Winston Churchill was overweight, drank like a fish and smoked cigars constantly. Yet he lived to the age of 91, I doubt if Crypiss will live as long.

You may not be aware of this, but medical science is probabilistic. You can roam the planet and always find exceptions to the rule, statistical outliers to the norm, examples well outside the interquartile range.

I could be dead tomorrow. But at six feet, 168 pounds, physically active, no drugs, no alcohol, and clean living, I like my chances at longevity better than the beach ball-shaped Trumpf.

Thanks for the explanation. It's trump's speaking that makes me suspicious. When he's speaking without a script he's all over the place. He can't seem to stay on point.

Does he lie about his age too? He is so unhappy with what he is constantly pretending he is something he is not!

Projecting as usual.....

LOL -- always. She had a meltdown the other day when a long-time Amazon friend (Aimee) showed up here. Aimee gets along with everyone. Aimee and I were enjoying a pleasant discussion about gardening, foods, etc. on the Toxic's Deranged Thread. Meanwhile, Toxic kept trying to change the conversation back to herself and how everyone's allegedly obsessed with her and that's why they post in that thread and have made it The Hugest Yugest Biggest Bestest JPP Thread EVER! (seriously not making this up.... she brags about the size of a thread dedicated to her obsession) We ignored her, except that I poked fun of her tugging at Aimee's skirts to "Look at me, look at MEEEEE". So Toxic summoned TrumpDivot (the OP) and had her retro-ban me so she could have Aimee all to herself. Weeks and weeks of Toxic following me around this forum, copying my posts to her DerangedRMe thread.... but I had to go because she wants Aimee all to herself.

Used to call her a "seventh grade mean girl." I was so wrong. She's still in third grade, and always will be. lol
