Yet it is the Dems that continue exploiting the lack of intelligence of the American people. The Dem Mantra: Keep promising them free shit today so we can be elected, let future generations worry how to pay for it all.

1) Expanded unemployment benefits
2) Expanded Medicaid
3) Expanded food stamps
4) Obama care

All under the premise that they are 'helping' people. Giving people more and more crutches does not help them to walk on their own again.

So, what would you do differently, being there is a lack of jobs and people get hungry and the majority of those hungry people are children?

the same with expanded Medicaid, the majority are children, how would you give poor children medical care? Catholic Social services is overwhelmed by those in need. Our local food pantry can't keep up with the need!

1) Quit expanding handout programs that further detract from what we can spend elsewhere.
2) Infrastructure... said it a million times, but we have great need for those jobs right now. Spend the money there and you end up putting people back to work, which gives them the money for food etc...
3) Quit extending jobless bene's... it is a disincentive for people to look for work and it is a disincentive for companies to hire.

His areguments are strawmen. These are not free but are paid investments by the taxpayers to assure a safety net in case disaster strikes. They are also important in regards to maintaining a stable political system. The attitude of "Fuck them, let them die" is a sure recipe for political destabilization within a society.

These are not immediate solutions for hungry and sick children. What are your immediate solutions until jobs are created?

The above is the ACTUAL straw man.

My position is not 'fuck them, let them die'... that is instead the standard bullshit straw man idiots on the left use to justify promising people more 'free stuff'.

By 'free'... I mean 'other people pay for it'. Because the next words out of your mouth will be 'tax the rich more/tax corporations more/make them pay their 'fair share'/income equality!!!'.

'investments' are designed to show a positive return. If something is not doing so, then you rework the problem and come up with a new solution. You don't keep throwing more and more money at an idea that doesn't work.

I went threw the Carter years.

Bush was worse than Carter.

Everytime a republican becomes pres,,,,,,,,, some of my family members, and one or more friends get caught up in the legal system over using pot and other kinds of dope. Never when any dems are pres.

Even though dems are just as responsible, reps get the blame.

The economy crashed after the COMPLETE takeover of Congress by Democrats....thats history. You can't rewrite it....

The cause of economic problems stem from three decades of heavy borrowing and spending, longer if one counts the drop of the gold standard and the use of the military to prop up the petro-dollar, and longer still if one considers control of the money supply by the Fed, which is a private consortium of commercial banks.
