OT: Roy Hibbert's "No homo" comment

:0) That's funny.

I like Wade too .. I even like the Golden Eagles. There's a lot of history there.

I'm not sure that Miami is the perennial dynasty many think it will be.

Yeah... Wade will always have a special place at Marquette. He put us back on the map by taking us to the Final Four. That effort helped Marquette get into the Big East. Which helped recruiting to the point that now we are yearly tournament participants.

As for the Heat, I would agree that it won't be the dynasty some project. LeBron is too selfish and eventually Wade and Bosh will be done with him.

Two more (in English)... Tim Duncan

I still think the Heat will win... my prediction is it goes the distance. I don't see them winning it all on the Spurs court.

I agree .. but Tony Parker will be the real key. The Heat always have problems with quick point guards who can score, and Tony Parker is among the best in the game.

I have no dog in this hunt .. and no real prediction.

May the best team win.

Before Oklahoma became an NBA participant, I was a Spurs fan. The only NBA game I've ever been to was Spurs vs Lakers. Loved the Robinson and Duncan duo. So it goes without saying that I'll be rooting for the Spurs. Besides, Duncan is getting long in the tooth. I'd like to see him get one more.

Like Robinson, Duncan has always played with class. Really do like him, but will side with Wade. That said, if the Spurs win it, I will be just as happy for Duncan, Ginobli, Parker etc...

:0) So does this mean I don't have to ask who you have in the championship round?

The Spurs are better than Indiana.

Not true. Last night's game was for the NBA Championship. Both teams would roll over the Spurs. Indiana would have done it in 5. Heat will do it in 4.

:whoa:

:rofl2:

That's funny.

Tony Parker

Miami had a problem just dealing with George Hill.

Tony Parker is twice the player that Hill is.

Miami blew them out in the regular season

Unfortunately, the regular season doesn't mean much other than positioning for home court.

And, and, and, AND :0) Dwayne Wade's knee isn't getting any better anytime soon.

I hate to beak this to a friend ,, but .. Tony Parker :0)

I have got to be one of the most Queer friendly white males on the planet. Out of law school I applied to work for Lambda legal, I was a three year member of the LBGT and Allies law school group (for which they had to have a discussion about admitting me because I was the FIRST openly straight man to want to be a member), I am a current member of PFLAG and I helped put together new mexico's human rights law that included homosexuality. That being said, I still sometimes say things like "He's a really good looking guy, no 'Mo." I say it because it takes people off guard and makes me and them laff. Some of the best Queer jokes I have ever heard are from Queers. Best ever: What does a lesbian bring on the second date? A U-Haul! Gay man told me that joke. I laffed and still do. It's funny. As Robin Williams once said, Joke'm if they can't take a fuck.
