As you stated before - that is your OPINION. You seemed to have a problem w/ that when I stated something like fact.

And hyperbole like "a little water in the face" is basically an admission that you lost.

As for shooting OBL in the head, they could do that a thousand times, and I'd be okay with it. Separate issue entirely, and another admission that you lost.

While you're at it, come up with a better explanation of why it took so long to act on information that you claim we had years ago. "Life ain't a made-for-TV movie" is almost as lame as your constant attempts to claim waterboarding isn't torture.

HE flip flopped, he made one statement that this was not obtained by torture and then he stated on Hannity that no one was tortured at GITMO. I went with his first statement., that the information was not obtained by torture, I did not see his later statement about GITMO. It is not I that am confused, but Rummy, yet, again. I never made the claim that there was torture at GITMO, we all know that we send them overseas to be tortured. It is the cowards way of breaking the law!

So, yeah - I'm all for pursuing America's most wanted with whatever resources we have, and taking him dead or alive. But I don't support torture, no.

When asked during an interview on MSNBC Tuesday morning if waterboarding directly lead to bin Laden, Obama’s top counterterrorism advisor John Brennan responded “not to my knowledge.” In addition, an Associated Press story that cites former CIA officials attribute the bin Laden information to standard interrogation perfrormed months after Mohammed was subjected to the technique.


So, Dixtard, you cling to the pathetic notion that the CIA knew where Osama was years ago because they tortured it out of somebody, but didn't do anything about it until this week?

I've already explained it in full detail, you need to go back and read what I posted in response to your idiocy the first time... you know, when you were obviously so embarrassed you were trying to divert the conversation and change the subject?

According to the CIA, the information obtained from two of three people we waterboarded, was instrumental in leading us to OBL. There are probably 50,000 assorted links to this on the web, I will let you Google them individually, I don't have time to post them all here. You are clinging to some bird-brain notion that KSM gave us this crucial information out of the goodness of his heart or something... I don't know, it doesn't even make rational sense to me what you are claiming here. We waterboarded him, and didn't get anything... so he decided to tell us everything because we stopped waterboarding him? Is THAT the way you see it? Because, if that's the case, you are beyond retarded.

Only in referring to interrogation at Gitmo.....ONLY AT GITMO.....Rummy never even hinted at anything that took place in overseas prisons or the interrogation that took place there....he chooses his words carefully....No waterboarding at Gitmo....

I never made such a claim, my claim for closing GITMO is that these people are being held without a trial to determine their guilt. I also think it is the claim made by many of us on here.

The truth about what happened or didn't happen at GITMO will surface one of these days...

How is killing a terrorist instead of water boarding them entirely different?...Oh never mind, killing them does sort of differ from making them uncomfortable... and is certainly what you would rather have happen to them. I know, I know, brain matter on the carpet is way better then water on the carpet. Yes, odd cognizant dissonance there oncie.
