No matter what you want to call it, the enhanced interrogations produced evidence which led us to OBL.

It's not like the courier was running around Pakistan in a truck marked "OBL's Courier Service." It's not like he was carrying around a big sign that read; "I'm the guy you're looking for, CIA!" And it's not like we had 100,000 CIA agents going door to door searching for him in Pakistan, like we searched for Saddam in Iraq. And it's not like we ran a little water over these cats and they said... Here is the courier who will lead you to OBL, his name is Akmed, he lives at 123 Islam Street... Whatever romantic notion of intelligence gathering you might have, it takes YEARS to piece together something like this, to ultimately locate a single person in country of millions, where we have no presence whatsoever, and who mostly have worked to protect OBL. Once we found him, we likely had to obtain photos and verify this was really him, then we had to put him under surveillance... again, with limited access to the country he resided in. Are you following any of this, pinhead? Or are you still living in some fantasy world where treating terrorists nicely is what produced this information?

Coercion can be implemented without torture, dumbass.
We don't torture, waterboarding isn't torture. Pulling out fingernails is torture, and I wouldn't approve of the government doing that, but if it were ME alone in a room with some thug who held the key to my family's safety.... better hide the fucking pliers.

Speaking of fantasy worlds, how's that theory that slavery wasn't the cause of the Civil War working for you?

I think I just repelled another attempt at changing the subject, like I said before, that won't work on me. I understand you really want to run away from the topic, because you seem to be getting your ass handed to you by me AND DY on this, but it's just not going to work this time. Save your Civil War arguments for another thread, and stick to the topic, moron.
Cite my fucking ASS! The Director of the CIA and the former Defense Secretary, have both stated this unequivocally. I don't need a fucking "CITE" to prove common sense. Two of three people we waterboarded, gave up information which ultimately led to OBL. It doesn't matter how retarded you want to act about that, it doesn't matter how idiotic you behave, or how ignorant of intelligence gathering you are... that's the facts. Live with it!
First of all, waterboarding is torture. According to Websters online, it is agony of the body or mind.
Second of all, you and I would do far more to someone than the gov't should do. We would be reacting out of emotion. The gov't doesn't need to do that.

Which former SecDef did you claim would back up your lies?
Was it this one?
I don't care what you want to CALL waterboarding, it produced results, contrary to what liberals argued. It was done to THREE people... not something "routinely" done on every detainee. It was not done by the US military, but rather, by the CIA. In relative comparison with techniques employed by other intelligence agencies around the world, waterboarding is extremely MILD. And if you want to maintain "that's not who we are".... fine, but pussies don't win wars. Spineless gutless wonders, don't bring down terrorist masterminds. Being NICE to terror thugs, doesn't produce actionable intelligence.
So, you support torture because the ends justify the means?
Or are you going to deny that again?
Your propaganda has been addressed by the man himself:

Now how about a big tall glass of STFU!
I've already answered your stupid question, why do you keep asking it?
I've already answered your stupid question, why do you keep asking it?
You're afraid to answer it. Your only argument on this is that "it worked!", ergo, the ends justify the means.
Do you support torture, or not?

Former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld tells Newsmax the information that led to the killing of Osama bin Laden was obtained through “normal interrogation approaches” and says the notion that terrorist suspects were waterboarded at Guantanamo Bay is a “myth.”

If you don't believe Rummy, maybe the loser from the last election will help. Get someone to read it to you.

Let's get back to shithead's little propaganda video of Rummy saying "it was not waterboarding" ....if you bother to listen to ALL of what he said, it becomes much more clear what he meant. Interrogation at Gitmo may have given us information, but it was not waterboarding, because we haven't waterboarded anyone at Gitmo. Guantanamo is a MILITARY facility, the waterboarding technique was used by the CIA at select "Black Sites."
