Plenty of hysteria back in 2021, now virtually nothing!!

Lake Oroville, California’s second-largest reservoir, has experienced a dramatic rise in water levels after a series of atmospheric river storms in January.
The storms triggered widespread flooding and damage while boosting the Sierra Nevada snowpack and the state’s drought-stricken reservoirs.
Photos taken in 2021 and 2023 show how much more full the lake is following the storms

What is your point? The thing with this dam is that California mismanaged it and came very close to dam failure as a result, which would have been catastrophic. Also that there is no evidence thar California has any interest in improving the quality of their work.

The point is that the dam is filling up due to winter snow melt and exceptional rainstorms. Why are you such a miserable sod all the time? It's not even about this particular dam as other dams are filling up as well.

What are you suggesting? That this ebbs and flows? You mean it may not be ........globull warming?????!!!!! OMG

it also weighs 8.2 lbs per gallon. That is the problem.

lol....must you be wrong about everything?

How much does 1 gallon of water weigh?
8.34 pounds
Wondering how much a gallon of water weighs? A US gallon is equal to 8.34 pounds or 3.78 kilos when measured at 62°F (or 17°C). So there you have it – now you know the answer!

Fascinating that all the news outlets scream when the water levels drop but take a vow of Omerta when it comes to reporting the record rain and snow over winter.
