The Secret Service agent disputing Hutchinson's account has disputed claims made by other WH personel.

An agent who also served as Donald Trump’s deputy chief of staff, Anthony M. Ornato, reportedly disputes Hutchinson’s testimony.

The dispute has set up the unusual prospect of Secret Service agents testifying to the Jan. 6 committee. It also could create one of the biggest factual disputes of the Jan. 6 committee’s work, with two (or more) witnesses testifying to something completely different under oath.

And, very notably, this is hardly the first time Ornato has denied an account of a key White House conversation. It’s now happened in at least three high-profile occasions. And that calls his denials into question, say former Trump aides who stand by Hutchinson. One of them flat-out said Ornato lied in one of his previous denials.

USSS aren't "Trumpsters"of "Bidenesque" or anything political

The committee should have gotten their statement, insead of putting Hearsay Hutchinson up there with her ridiculous 3rd party hearsay.

But I'm glad they did. it shows the whole committee is illegitimate driving a narrative instead of having Republicans calling their own witness and using cross questioning

Those protestors werent peaceful ( they were throwing stuff ), it was pepper spray -butlocal cops used tear gas not USSS and the park wasnt cleared for Trump "photo op"

Specifically, the report found that Bureau of Prisons officers on the scene used pepper spray against protestors and that Metropolitan Police officers used tear gas, despite orders from Park Police not to do so.

Additionally, Secret Service deployed against protestors before the first dispersal orders were given - and warnings asking demonstrators to disperse were not heard by protestors before police started aggressively clearing the park.

The office also concluded that the Park Police officers acted within their authority to begin clearing Lafayette Square and nearby before the city’s 7 p.m. curfew, a move that was widely criticized at the time as having contributed to the chaos and confusion at the scene.

Ornato has been involved in three previous such disputes with other Trump staffers.

This either means that he's a Trumper who takes Trump's side in everything or Trump's WH was full of liars.
