Ornato’s role as a political adviser to the president inside the West Wing had been very controversial, breaking decades of traditions at the Secret Service, a civil service agency which prided itself on its political independence and focus on security. However, at Trump’s insistence, Ornato took an unprecedented temporary detail as an Oval Office employee, while still formally employed by the Secret Service.

The Secret Service allowed Ornato to cross over into the political role of helping the president organize events and get reelected, a role Hutchinson described as one of the most important in the White House. Many agents and staff have described Ornato as a “yes man” to Trump, who sought to help the president launch campaign rallies in red states amid rising and lethal surges of the coronavirus there, and to create a photo op of strength outside the White House that led to the forcible removal of people peacefully protesting George Floyd’s killing from a park outside the White House.

I would love to have unsuspecting MAGA fat assess open the floodgates for compelling all of Trump's secret service detail to be deposed by the Jan 6 commission on all the activities and actions they witnessed surrounding the events of the Jan 6 insurrection.

But the Shot that will be heard around the world, is when Cippolone Testifies and spills all the remaining beans that directly links Donald Trump, Mark Meadows, and every other Republican public official involved in the Coup (Including some US Congressmen) in the planning and carrying out of the coup d'état.

This is when the Republicans will be abandoning Trump like the people running from an elevator that someone just threw up all over, on it's next stop!

This will throw the Mid-Term elections into total chaos for the Republicans and will give the Democrats the edge!

Donald Trump will be indicted on charges of numerous treasonous acts- and should be on trial, broadcasted on National TV, before Nancy calls her new HOUSE into order in January 2023!

The SS agents are supposed to be apolitical. It would be great if they were forced to testify by the agency

The Secret Service made a public statement yesterday that all of the SS agents involved in the matter WILL TESTIFY BEFORE THE COMMITTEE!
