Oregon State University: Students asked not to eat in “shared spaces” during Ramadan

Common courtesy is not "favoring"...

Seeming to advance one religious belief is indeed "favoring".

If any other religious (or irreligious) affiliation chooses to file a complaint, Oregon State University will discover - as will you - that such advancement is prohibited under the Establishment Clause.

Jewish people eat Halal when they can't get Kosher and Arabs will eat Kosher when they can't get Halal.

Irrelevant. If Oregon State University allows an extraordinary accommodation for any religion, they are on thin ice, legally.

BTW, in kosher, dairy and meat cannot be mixed; such mingling is entirely prohibited. Halal permits the mixing of the two food types.

Request: the act of asking for something to be given or done, primarily as a favor or courtesy; solicitation or petition:

So much for the "establishment clause" which, Legion is unqualified to instruct us on. The university will weather the imagined storm.

As the controlling authority over all student activities and University premises, the Administration and Trustees of the publicly-funded Oregon State University are certainly giving tacit assent to an extraordinary religious accommodation, which is prohibited by the Establishment Clause.

Whether or not any complaint is brought remains to be seen.

During Ramadan Muslims don't eat during the day, they fast , so having goyim gobbling their pork next to them is an affront, but the right wing ignorant pork stenched goyim wouldn't know that

If they don't eat it's a non issue

Our money advances one religious belief. For example.

Someone may think that Muslims watching others eat while they fast is an issue.

The point is that the University has allowed its facilities to extend an extraordinary accommodation to the adherents of a particular religious belief.

Wrong. I pointed out that you have no qualifications to be lecturing on the establishment clause. So do you have any requirements? No, you don't. And, yes that is so.

I claimed no qualification. The factual information I cited is clear, ipso facto.

Pretending to rebut a claim I never made is illogical.

Not a chance.

Well the Christian rule is to sacrifice, not make others sacrifice. I don't understand Ramadan, but I assume it must be similar. So this rule just defeats the purpose in my mind. If anyone has to cater so you can sacrifice, is it truly a sacrifice? In fact I kind of feel it might seem a bit insulting in a way.
