John F Kerry (did you know he served in Vietnam) plays on his yacht. Who can be bothered with world affairs?

Initially the State Dept lied and adamantly claimed Kerry wasn't yachting while Cairo burned. But now that there is photographic proof, they are backtracking and saying "Yeah, I guess he was yachting"

So in an effort to help the sycophantic libbies with their defense of Monsieur Kerrreeeeeee, allow me to postulate some excuses

Not sure why Kerry needs to be around for this world event. I don't see what Kerry could bring to the equation anyway.

Yeah, it isn't like the Administration had a hand in bringing the Muslime Brotherhood to power. It isn't like Egypt is (or was) a strategic partner in volatile area in the world.

I will admit though that Secretary of State Lurch could only make things worse with his fecklessness so maybe it is best that he was being a 1%er on his yacht. And to think that this douchebag was the libbies candidate for President
 
He has no clue....he's just another "They did it to Bush, So I'm going to get playback" guy...

EDIT: you see....the formula is this.....if the administration does nothing, or delays action....they are weak. If they go in and intervene....they are warhawks.

Yep. You got it.

But it's incredibly boring, unimaginative & repetitive. The Clinton years were rough for those who supported him, but it's not like I was looking for "payback" during the Bush years. I had legit gripes with Bush; I was even pulling for him after 9/11. He just sucked.

With Obama, it's all about payback w/ the righties. The Bush years were really brutal for them. But please - give me some imagination; some thought.

I voted for Bush the first time around....I supported him after 9/11. In fact, my real gripes about Bush are limited to three items.....the creation of DHS(we have the NSA, CIA and FBI....if they needed help....hire...no need for yet another big budget department).....the Patriot Act, and the Katrina fiasco.....oh shit, I did forget one....Giving China "Most Favored Nation" status, despite their human rights record, all so that Corporate America could dismantle labor here at home

The administration is responsible for this mess. Remember when Obama went to Cairo for his big speech way back when? Remember when he was touting the Arab Spring that he ushered in? Now he stands by while it all burns. You don't think the Secretary of State should be at least in an office somewhere keeping an eye on events and not sailing on his 1%er yacht?
