Only way left to get gun reform in America is by going after the manufactures;

Nature of existence. Look at history, all life forms are violent to an extent.

ok since we dont really care if kids are getting shot in France or Ukraine but mainly here in the USofA, why do you suppose Americans are choosing violence to solve their problems ? note I'l excluding geopolitical terrorists as thats a rather different subset).

why do you suppose Americans are choosing violence to solve their problems ?

It is our culture. Bush wrongly invaded Iraq and killed 750, 000 innocent Iraqis. Oops, my bad, is all we got.
It is a dialectical principle that what you do to others you do to yourself.

The Golden Rule can thus be extended: As you treat others, so do you treat yourself.

how did Hussein treat others ? thats a 2 way street and has never worked in the entire history of the world.

why do individuals find it acceptable to murder someone as a resolution to a problem ? what happened to their sense of right and wrong ?

“Federal ruling could help New York go after gun manufacturers”

“A New York law that could hold the gun industry accountable after their products are used in deadly shootings has been upheld by a federal judge. The law is a way to go after the supply chain of firearms, especially anonymized ghost guns, that pass through the "iron pipeline" from states with meager gun control laws.”

Unconstitutional. The judge exceeded his authority.

Not true, parents at Sandy Hook just got $74 million out of Remington, they have Alex Jones on the ropes, and the case in New York is a beginning, it can be done, worked against Big Tobacco

And the Democrats aren’t much better, again, more worried about getting re-elected than challenging the gun lobby

Yet another 'gun lobby' hate post. The right of self defense is inherent, dude.

“It could be employed in a civil action brought by a victim of gun violence who can demonstrate they suffered harm from an illegal gun that came from a dealer who regularly and knowingly sells guns to people who turn around and illegally traffic the product.
Another possible plaintiff, legal experts said, could be someone injured in a mass shooting carried out by someone who was influenced by aggressive marketing that enticed the shooter to buy a gun and use it to do violence”

“If gun control won't work, at least take away gun makers' liability protection”

The Sandy Hook liability lawsuit got Remington’s attention, and it wasn’t Congress that bought down Big Tobacco, so America ought to give up on the gutless politicians and go after guns where it hurts, the pocketbook

Killing all leftist shitbirds (just like you) in America would solve that problem mighty quick.

Do you still want to go against the Constitution?

We're tired of your shit, brah. That's enough of that bullshit.

I tell ya wut, Leftist Shitbird control sounds better than gun control to me.

Wrong, parents at Sandy Hook did just got $74 million out of Remington, they currently have Alex Jones on the ropes, and the case in New York is a beginning, it can be done, worked against Big Tobacco

Wrong again, and even if it was so, the right to attend a movie, go to school, a hospital, a store, a bowling alley, a church, a shopping mall, a spa, etc., without fearing the possibility of getting killed by a stranger with a gun is a higher inherent right

I agree, go after the mfrs.

But don't let up on Congressional action. We need a big national campaign to vote the Republicans out to protect school children.

Make America Safe Again.

The Taliban are communists and fascists, dude. Socialists...just like Democrats.

No. Democrats don't oppress women and gays. When a man cheats with a woman, Democrats don't stone the woman for tempting him. Democrats don't throw gay people off buildings.

The Taliban does.

Republicans are America's Taliban.

So, I guess the government, law enforcement, and the military can import their weapons from somewhere else because the manufacturers of civilian weapons are the manufacturers of military weapons and if they have no profit incentive you can damn sure bet they'll stop producing anything at all.

Something to consider as the Revolution considers fuel price controls ala the Soviet Union.

Rather extreme example, no, if there is a buck to be made, someone will still make the weapons for military, police, etc, but those that mass produce and promote such for general consumption regardless of consequences should be held accountable

Also special taxes on oil companies because they want to destroy oil companies, only "green energy" companies are to be allowed.

Most Democrats support stricter gun laws.
