One Year Anniversary Of The Deadly Massacre In Tucson, AZ

Tucson, AZ -- Sunday marks the one year anniversary of the deadly massacre in Tucson, Arizona -- 8 people were gunned down, and 13 others wounded, including Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.

It was a sunny Saturday morning in Tucson. Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was listening to her constituents outside a Safeway grocery store. At 10:11, the shots rang out.

By the time Jared Loughner emptied his handgun, 6 people were dead and 13 were wounded. Gabrielle Giffords was shot in the head.

Daniel Hernandez, 21, had been her intern for just 5 days. He ran towards the gunfire, covering the wound in his bosses head to hold back the blood, holding her hand even after paramedics arrived.

it is a good thing some liberals have stopped blaming this horrific tragedy on conservatives. i wish the survivors the best and hope loughner never gets out of prison.

What a shame, if only Jared Loughner were a better shot we would have one less democrat congresswoman.
